OOoooooooooooooooooWEE!

If you like music that makes you squint your eyes, clutch your gut, snap your neck and say "good lawd, thats funky!", cop this disc.


It ain't hiphop i guess (it is to me, but hey....) more or less, soul and funk.... i would even consider some of it house-ey.

But if you like Hammond b-3's, and Rhodes', and congas, and smooth horns and guitar licks, and fresh breaks, and strings and stand-up basses, and soul claps.... ha (among other things), this album is for you...

Hmmm... I don't really buy mix CDs, or compilations (feels like cheating) so I've passed on this one so far. I like Djinji a lot though. His solo album is dope, and I dig his house-ier dance cuts. His song on No Edge Ups is the beat too.

yea this is a good album. i scooped it up as soon as we got it at access. also check out osunlade and nick holder they have a similar sound.
