I went to school in wichita ks, w/ a lot of people from south texas and for three years I heard basically nothing but whatever underground hits i could get, goodie,outkast,8ballandMJG, UGK and the SUC.
somehow i got into it, helped being around the people who the music is made for, dj screw really put down a vibe that a whole state was feeling. heard that freestlye to bowdown freestyle wit keke (the true freestyle king) fatpat ,bigmoe and pookey (maybe hawk), screwed it was like 35 minutes plus, one year a couple cats would listen to that before everygame. i moved when michael watts was starting to make his moves.

fatpat would of been as big as 8ball and mjg, bigger maybe?
why are do I hear screwed up music by people who cant chop?
are swishahouse and michael watts doing their things?

dj screw should have a strong place in this thing we call hiphop's history, the only dj I can believe who put out thousands of tapes. a true cultural trendsetter.

screwed is definately something where u need the aquired taste to like it...pretty different.

its a full dj mix...with lots a tricks...however there is alot of BS fake screw music runnion around you may have heard
