Bone Thugs was like a Fisher Price "My First Favorite Rap Group"- most of their fans just didn't know any better.
They sure did work my nerves for a while there... I think their popularity coincided with my ultra-underground/hater days. Unfortunately as my attitude improved, their music stayed crappy.

Ha ha... we had a whole argument about that on here quite a while ago. Myself and Gunther B were insisting that Bone bit them outright, but nobody wanted to believe us.

The Bones Thugs still have talent and some aspects that FF lack so it's not like they owe all their success to the FF. They have commercial appeal that the FF will never have. For people who don't agree with me let me ask you this...if the Bone Thugs bit the FF completely then why didn't the FF blow up? It's not because of money because FF was on Island, and knew the right people too - they just didn't fit into the formula of making cash (and I doubt they wanted to blow up anyway). The fact is FF are way too abstract for the masses...and the production isn't as clean and mainstream sounding. Put it plain and simple...The Bone Thugs appeal to A LOT more people than FF. Don't lose sleep over it.
