Damn i dont know how many of you live in Riverside & LA county but if you've seen the hip hop show on KJLA then this friday you saw phoenix orion puttin del on blast. I'm not talking about a little sucker punch line about del but a full on talking shit for 5 minutes on del and automator. Anyone wanna speak on this?

i haven't heard much of his shit, but how is he gonna say Del stole his style. He was talkin all kinds of shit at the Night Hip Hop Stole Christmas show, and Del was one of the headliners. I'd like to know what kind of point he made and what he was sayin about Del and Dan. Del is so much tighter than Phoenix. What is this guys problem?

He was saying that he was originally suppose to be the "one" doing the 3030 shit. He said that he gave his tape to dan and he didnt want to do it with him so he picked del instead. Phoenix said that he's always had the sci fi style and that del only used it on 3030. So basically Phoenix is saying that while he's keeping it real always being his "Sci Fi" self, that del is bitin his style. He was way mad in the interview i saw it on. Doing a del impersonation and shit. It was funny but at the same time i was like what the fuck man , he needs to chill. Phoenix also has beef with supernat, that what nats vs. on suckaz w/ vinnie paz is about.

i think darkleaf it wack too. I respect their originality and the fact that they have been puttin it down for the west coast underground for a long time, but they aren't that good. There is a reason Freestyle Fellowship doen't fuck with them anymore. Their beats are way to drab and boring.

See I can understand and totally respect your opinion because you still respect them at least for putting it down as long as they did, some of those tracks on the mikah 9 CD feat dark leaf are some of the best shit I've ever heard, it's just lots of people show o respect noe what i'm sayen? peace.

But anyway i like phoenix orion and i can feel how he's mad because of Del getting so much respect off of his "Style". wouldn't yall be mad if you thought someone was bitin you and getting more recognition . P.S. Dark Leaf is ill in my opinion , and yes i do like Del also hahahha

l live in Glendale. there are few people like us who can see validity in what phoenix Orion said, almost everyone else starts getting all defensive when Del's authenticity is questioned...i mean face the music..it will all speak for itself. peace.

my first i was exposed to darkleaf was this summer
when i was at Power 106 in LA. They were on promoting
a show they were doing that weekend....but it was
outta hand the biggest dude w/ dreads came out the
booth and passed the fuck out & smacked his dome

at that show i saw, Del didn't mention a word about Phoenix. I figured he was playing the "that fool ain't worth my time" roll. Maybe he's above that, but I wish Del and Dan would drop a track rippin Orion to shreds.

yeah, i mean i like del n all but i see validity in what Phoenix Orion says. It could go either way...i just think you (the universal you) need to keep yourself open minded to what you might not know as well as what you do...like someone who has a Ph.D. in economics can still be ignorant to many subjects like biology so why is he going to get all defensive over religion Vs. science when it comes to the way life began if he has no idea about all the logic you can find in science, considering there are some hardcore Christian scientist who have so much faith they accept that yea there is logic to it...noe what i mean? phoenix did the exact same thing at a show at the glass house like 3 years ago, hiero was headlining and mad people in the audience started talkin shit to phoenix so he jumped into the crowd and and i think some dude hit him...but anyway, yeah i think del is just ignoring it because he doesnt want to get involved with bs. i like some of phoenix's stuff and hes pretty entertaining live with all the helmets and light sabers and what not, but overall i gotta side with del. i think its kinda weird that when phoenix starts sayin all that stuff he always talks about how hes a hiero fan, i would wanna see him say somethin to del personally, not on tv or to the crowd at a show cuz its been a couple years now and its obvious that his current plan hasnt gotten a reaction
