Milpitas - Marsh Road - In 1980, a Milpitas High School student raped and murdered his girlfriend, leaving her body underneath the small bridge on Marsh Road, high up in the hills, in the middle of nowhere. Underneath the bridge is a very foul odor; electronic devices are drained of power. And when people go there at night, a white truck tries to run them off the road. When people pass by the bridge late at night, there have been witnesses who claim to have seen the ghost of the girl. As the driver looks at the back view mirror, she will appear in the reflection, but as you look back, she's gone.

This is like a Gravity hill kind of thing eh?

Well heres my story.

A few of my friends decide to take me over there by those piedmont hills and what not. It was really late and nobody tried to run us off the road or anything. Anyway, we parked by a bridge and just kicked it outside for a little bit. All of a sudden my friend Charles asks everybody if we heard a cow. I didnt here a cow.. but after a couple minutes I heard a 'Mooooooo'

Charles copies the cow and he then says 'MOooooo'

Then the cow says 'Moooooo' then Charles said 'Mooo' again.

It was funny, everybody was laughing and what not. They played that game for about two minutes until Charles said "I bet that cows knows the master P song. " So then Charles goes "Moooooo NA NA NA" and what do you know the cow goes "Moooooo NA NA NA" I got freaked out and went back to the car and it was weired I thought because I couldnt see any cow, and I didnt see anybody else but my friends.

When we were leaving some white guy with a beard and a shotgun stopped as and asked why we were there. We just shook the spot and when we looked back we couldnt see him...

I wasnt high either, or drunk.

http://www.theshadowlands.net/places/california.htm aye that's a trip! i just checked out that link and if u look under the city vallejo they talk about borges ranch and i live in that area. but the most tripped out part is they said some fool got killed along with his girlfriend on marche road which is present day angelina way street. my cousin lives on that street! they said dude goes to each and every house on that street and watches the girls because he loves girls or something. i dunno it may be just a myth but it's a trip how out of all the streets they pick that street. weird.

There used to be a Gravity Hill (when you left the car in neutral with the brakes off, it seemed like your car or truck was rolling backwards uphill) in Vallejo.. it was located on Lake Herman Road... this is where the Zodiac Killer killed a couple back in the 60's. there were stories of a "white lady" and a "blue baby" ... it seems like every ghost story has a white lady or a blue baby in it.. i never seen em.. we used to drive there with the headlights turned off back in high school.. Gravity Hill got evened out and the road got repaved a few years back.

From that shadowlands site...

Colorado Springs - Gold Camp Road - The tunnels along the road are haunted by the spirits who built the in the 1800's, the road was originally a railroad from Colorado Springs to cripple creek but was the tracks were later removed to allow for transportation by car. In the late 70's a school bus of elementary kids were taking a field trip up the road. With that said, you must realize that Gold Camp Road is a narrow, dirt road, winding around sharp corners across the mountainside. Tunnels had to be dug through the mountain in 3 different locations to allow the train tracks to be laid. The true story follows. As the bus approached the third tunnel, rocks and boulders began to slide down the mountain, slamming into the bus.. Most people assume that the driver probably feared being knocked off course by the boulders and took shelter inside the tunnel. Unfortunately, the boulders were shifting due to an earthquake, which caused the tunnel to collapse around the bus, suffocating all inside. To this day, the tunnel has never been fully dug out. It is still closed off, though most of the debris has been removed. The evidence that this is true, is there in the tunnel. When workers began to dig the bodies out, they realized that the roof of the now demolished bus, was the only thing keeping the tunnel from crumbling completely. If you dare to wiggle through the hole(someone else was curious) in the chain link fence that now surrounds the tunnel, you will see the roof of the school bus, hanging from the top of the cave like tunnel. It has been attached firmly to beams, in an effort to keep the roof of the tunnel up.

This is STRAIGHT true.... i've crawled thru the fence, and there's a rooof of a school bus chillin'...

Never saw any ghosts though, all though we used to try and scare heads that would come up there.... hahaha.....

And, a bunch of bodies have been found in the surrounding area.... every year it seems like.

that site had a few from my city including the zodiac killer one i mentioned, but i never heard of this:

"Vallejo - Along the Highway Near Hiddenbook - The Children of Good Serpent Orphanage: During - "The Bad" Children were sent from all around the World to Good Serpent Continuation School and Orphanage. The ghosts here are the scariest of them all. Some of the bad Appalachian Experiment Children were sent here as well.(some of these children were born deformed and others with learning problems)Some of the children that are seen here sneaking out at night were so hideous that they changes the name from Good Servant to Good Serpant(referring to the Devil). It was never listed in the Phone Directories and was the Worst Case of Child Abuse ever recorded in History. The violent souls of the Good Serpent Orphanage are still seen only in this area."

....i'm kinda curious to check this out now.. i love scaring myself.
