did anyone else think that lyrics born's new album was a bit....well...soft??

as in new-soul soft, as in blazing arrow soft, as in generally pretty boring?

i for one was damn dissapointed, then again blazing arrow has kinda of grown on me. not much though.

i guess i expected more of a latyrx vibe, arrangements, flow, beats...i don't know, on the whole i find it boring.

there are like three really dope tracks and the rest of just could have been a lot better. That song with Lateef is fuckin crazy. Thats probably my favorite hiphop track of 03.

it's good music to listen to at work.. mainly because it doesn't sound like rap really.. i have maybe 3 or 4 of the songs in my "work music" playlist hehe

i kinda agree.. the first few listens, i thought it was cool... now, i find it pretty boring... yeah, there's about 3 or 4 jams on there that get me hyped, but for the most part, this is not an album I can play while driving in rainy holiday traffic.
