in my mind, vastly underrated. changed the game, dope distinctive voices and consistently tight beats-agree/disagree?

I agree. no self respeting hiphop fan would disagree. I do disagree though that they were underrated. I think they got all the props they deserved. maybe theyre underrated or under appreciated nowadays by people who werent into hiphop back then. I havent heard anything after Temple of Boom. But the first one, Black Sunday and "Boom" are great. definately some of the dopest production of that era..... and I mean, the sheer latin testosterone that SenDog brought to the mic........ unprecidented in hiphop.

agreed 100 percent. youre right, they were massive back then. but im not sure they deserve to be such an afterthought today.

somebody posted a muggs interview here a long time ago. searched but couldn't find it.

he just talked about how many producers bit his style. mainly rza. i agree with him on that.

he also said he was working on something new. something really new and different. anybody got some info?

i agree with the gist, but i wouldn say there underrated at all the get major love down here from all the bong heads, if i still smoked everyday i'd be goin to see em next weekend, but i cant justify spending $70 for a ticket, anyways Tomohawk are playin that night too and only $50 (which is still too damn much)

"And, the lights are blinking, I'm thinking it's all over when I go out drinking."

One of my all time favorite lines. I don't know why, it just always made me smile.

Most memorable show I've ever been to was Smokin Grooves in...'95 (I think) because I was SO into Cypress Hill. Oh, the good ol' days...

One of the first hip hop shows I had ever seen was Cypress Hill headlining for 311 and Pharcyde in San Jose when I was like 14.
That shit was during the release of temples of boom. There was alot of cool people at that show smoking everybody out, no stinginess with the bud!
I still feel blessed to have seen pharcyde live before they broke up
