Funny Action Flicks

Anyone else appreciate a good p.o.s. action flick. (ie Commando, Lionheart, Missing in Action etc.) . Last nite i watched Lionheart. The part where he fights the dude in the kilt had me rolling. For gods sake theres a dude in rollerkates glidin around takin bets on the fight. Classic. Any recommendations?

The Perfect Weapon-Jeff Speicman (splng?) He was the shit for,........like 3 seconds!
Any thing with Seagal! Pre-Under Siege 2 though!
That Brandon Lee movie has some cool fight scenes too!
There is nothing like bad acting and good fight scenes! Bloodsport is a good example of that!

don't forget GymKata (Gym-Ka-Ta).....the gymnist who knows karate and beats up thugs all around the city with poles in the alley which are perfectly space for an uneven bar routine......hillarious

Also, I just watched Commando the other day and I counted the number of people John Matrix kills when he mobs on Arius's house in the last part of the movie and he kills fucking 98 people in like 10 minutes. 98 people. That alone places Commando among the elite when action flicks are concerned and I'd even go so far as to say that its one of the finest cinematic acheivments of the last half century....

i watch it around thanksgiving and right before that fool kills 98 people, arnold takes a boat to that fools beach---IN A SPEEDO!, and proceeds to get dressed. one question why are you wearing a speedo right before a battle? and two, is it wise to get ready outside of that fools house?

I agree, I would have geared up on the way, or maybe even before I left.... but its the subtle costume changes and blatant disregard for common sense that makes for a truly great film.

Bloodsport (Dux? Like put up your dukes, right?) & Kickboxer (even though i hate vandamme).. American Ninja.. oh, and Best of the Best.. do low budget hollywood martial arts movies by Carolco count? Another vital aspect of these films is the training/gearing-up-to-kick-some-ass montage... usually with some inspirational A-Team muzak playing..

i have a nasty cold so im gonna rent Gymkata and some other redicuouls ones. Anyone know the name of the Chuck Norris flick where he defends the forest from gettin buzzed down by trurnin into forest animals (eagles bears maybe even a trout)?

No one here better hate on Predator. That movie is seriously one of my top 5 favorites of all time. Ill defend it till the death.

What I was attmepting to post was a PASSENGER 57 poster....... a slept on classic of the genre.

oh yeah, that movie was sic. was that the one with snipes? the skydiving one? blade is pretty cool. american ninja is dope. best of the best is dope when one of the guys gets all pissed off (i think because maybe his friend died or something) and he's training and he punches right through that punching pad that homie is holding. the computer blows up or some shit, the reading goes off the scale or something. it was funny.

but for a really hilarious spoof on action flicks (i guess blockbuster calls it a parody of blaxpoitation films) go rent 'i'm gonna git you sucka!' with keenen wayans. that shit had me rollin' when i saw it god knows how many years ago. i think i'll have to rent it this weekend perhaps. i just remember when one of the guys dies and then keenan runs across the street, steps on him, and he belts out a humongous flatulant. when you're like 13 that shit is funny as fuck.
