hands down, the best simpsons episode was when mr. burns was trying to get his teddy bear bobo back. that was when homer and mr. burns was the focus of the show
I dunno if I can pick a single favorite episode - two immediately pop into my head. The one where Bart sells his sould to Milhouse. And the episode with Hank Scorpio.
I dunno about this 300th episode though - it's featuring Tony Hawk and Blink 182 - I hate it when they have celebrities on the show!
They're making a set of the 5 family members as they appear on the show as a 300th episode figure set.

the hank scorpio episode is hella funny. homer can you hang up my coat....i didn't even give you my coat
i think you are right: hank scorpio and bobo are the best simpsons ever
Some girl at my work just walked over and handed me a copy of that entertainment weekly.
They say the best epicode is - Last Exit to Springfield (Lisa needs braces)
Worst - Bart to the Future. (where Lisa's the prez, etc.)
I beg to differ, but with no backing. I can't pick a favorite. I love them all so much.
Oh, and the episode w/Bobo was rated as second best ever.
I think the worst episode might be the Simspon's Safari where they go to Africa - that was horrible!

BOOOOOOOO! should have been canceled at 200
Last Exit to Springfield and the Bobo one would be in the top ten but by far the all time best episode is The Last Temptation of Homer. Its the one where homer is trying not to have an affair with his new coworker Mindy. Funniest episode ever.

maybe i'm coming from left field here, but i dig the guatamalan insanity pepper episode, and the max power episode. there's plenty others i would say are my fav, but those too were most immediately in my noggin. long live the simpsons. i haven't seen them all by any means, i don't have that much time to watch TV. there's one i missed, don't know how old it is, but something about medicinal marijuana. was there really an episode about that? my homie microphone jones is a simpsonsologist. fool's crazy bout that shit.

hell yea there's a medicinal marijuana one! homer needs medication for an eye injury so dr. hibbert supplies him with the goods. episode summary:
"Weekend at Burnsie's"
(DABF11)
Homer gets fiercly attacked by crows, which forces Hibbert to give him medicinal marijuana to relieve the pain. Homer gets addicted to medicinal marijuana. The pot smoking does wonders for Homer's professional life, when he's promoted for laughing at Mr. Burns' jokes (he's high). Neighbor Ned Flanders opposes Springfield's pro-pot stance, leads the charge to re-criminalize the potent plant and holds a public vote, which prompts the rally. Much to the chagrin of Phish, some stoney Springfieldians and millions of viewers watching at home, the polls will fall in Flanders' favor by the time the band takes the stage.
Otto and Homer end up smoking out together a bunch of times.. together they say some pretty funny shit. Very funny episode.

The Simpson's is dope. I feel like they haven't been around for as long as many other toons, but they've been around for so long, it's insane.
Usually, a publication *especially toons* only stay around for that one certain generation that grew up on it. The Simpsons has been around so long, even your kids - kids are watchin' it ;)
Much love to 'Matt'. LOL.

man... the simpsons have been there from childhood to adulthood (is that even a word) do you guys remember when they started on the Tracy Ulman show. It was so primitive and the speech was so slurred... MG has come a long ass way... its great how he incorporates musical guests appearances (not the gay ones tho like Nsync.. fuck i was so upset to see them in the show...) PHISH... the WHO... STING... hahaha...even the MICHAEL JACKSON (tha guy homer met in the mental hospital) "lisa its your birthday.. happy birthday lisa..."
cant wait for the 300th.....
