what albums do you have? The first I ever picked up was Ecology. Damn, that track "Losing You" is so dope. It keeps comin and goin - very intense! The second Rare Earth LP I picked up was "One World". Pretty dope, it's got a lot of good tunes as well. You know any other dope groups like that?

Yea, Rare Earth was one of the only "rock" bands on Motown I believe. That's tight about your mom though! it's always fun to raid the parent's records. Last week my mom gave me all her Kool & The Gang, Funkadelic, Jimmy Castor Bunch 45s. It's funny how there was dope music in my house (i live with my parents) and not even know it's there!

im stuck on BOC and some daft punk, trans am...im in a electronic type of mood i guess.
for anyone that loves the Boards, Warp records just re-released TWOISM on CD and vinyl. twoism is their first record from 1995, only 2,000 copies were ever released and only on vinyl!
i got the vinyl for it and it came with a sweet sticker.

hell yes, strictly early 90s east coast....tim dog was one raw motherfucker...fuck compton is a slammer. i love kool keith and all, and i know its classic, but do you think its worth getting the old ultramagnetic shit?
highlife
12-23-2002, 11:32 PM
i'd rather listen to just keith though. tim dog is wack wack. all he does is curse and swear. keith at least makes clowning on fools funny and interesting while tim just sucks. but the old ultra's are sic overall and they're classic.

well im taking it back and taking it "aboveground" with common "come closer" , mikah 9 "crack life", slum village "tainted love" ,the whole album bizarre ride II by the pharcyde, the temptations album by the fellowship, i love the sex in the city song and the seasons song too. also lately ive been feeling the 4 tracks LA and back from Eligh, and that is crazy because i have had that for so long but i guess i never took the time to acutally listen to it. oh yeah i cant forget PSC, because i really am feelin that song "unsatisfied" of of JTM$.that song is coming correct. ive really had alot of spare time on my hands lately and i realize that i own some dope albums or mixtapes with dope songs.
