Hieroglyphics - Ascension: Gimme something brief about this please?

So I just saw on the official site that they gots a video release, Ascension. I'd like to know something brief about it and/or your opinion and if it's worthy my $15.

I picked up the DVD a while back...tough call. Pretty good insight on Pep Love throughout (i.e. what he stands for, etc.) and one particular freestyle he does that is good listening. A lot of live performance footage from Maritime Hall. However, the headache value was pretty high (damn handhelds) and, maybe it was my 1930's speakers, but the sound quality was suspicious (could be wrong on that...havent gone in for a second viewing yet). Overall, I'd give a 6.5/10 on the Tinkle scale...and that's only because Pep Love is one of my favoritos.

Thanks Tinkle. Sucks to hear that because it would have been fly if there was a good insight on at least three of the Hiero members. Anyway I'll prolly get around it next year.

How about Souls of Mischeif? I forgot to ask about that, something brief abotu this too if you may. Thanks guys.

Hiero is dope as fuck dont get me wrong, but Pep Love's- Ascension and Casual's- He think he raw have to be two of the worst albums that I thought would be good I bought and returned lately. The Grouch colab on ascension is the weakest beat I think I ever heard grouch spit on. And every track of Casual is some kind of a mix between the old Casual(Fear Itself) and Too $hort with less creativness than short dog.

ur fuckin TRIPPIN !! ascension a weak album?? i never heard the casual album but i know for sure that pep loves album is solid. i personally like the grouch track, but i guess u got your own opinion and that cant be changed. youre the first person ive heard of to call pep loves album weak.

"He Think He Raw"=I Think Its Shit...total agreement there. But Ascension should have played in your box a little longer there probably. Strong lyricism on that cd. Drip.
