this album is amazing.
Finally started listening to this album today. I bought it when it came out but have been listening to a bunch of other stuff...but I finally brought this to work today (and good thing too cos all my computer broke and my music was unrecoverable - 100s of albums gone!).
Anyway, yeah, this is pretty damn good. It's nothing special, but it just has a really nice sound...Domino strung some nice songs (I'm assuming he produced the album, haven't checked the liner notes yet)! It trips me out to hear that Bjork song on here (Human Behavior?) but I like it. "Classic" is pretty fresh. Only have two complaints: (1) I hate it when people put a skit on an album as a separate track!, and (2) Del's freestyle is fucking weak! I dunno why they put it on the album.

domino, opio, and a+ all produced on this album. yea, that del flow is kinda wack but you never know what he was on when they recorded it. and another thing, del is only featured on about 3 songs. i expected to hear more from him on this album. still a solid project.

"Its Not A Bjork Sample"
Let me revive this sh*t, and set a few heads straight. It ain't Bjork, but t's "Go Down Dying," the Ray Brown joint off the soundtrack to "The Adventurers" that Nellee Hooper sampled on "Human Behavior." If you listen to them both back-to-back, the Bjork joint has all kinds of ambient washes over the bassline. On "Let It Roll," the groove is way fatter. No way at all Domino jacked that Bjork record. He knows his jazz sh*t, so he just went to the original source, money on it.

^^^Make Your Move is the beat.
Andross - that's cool, thanks for posting that. I hadn't heard the Bjork song in a long ass time, but it sounded exactly like it to me.
Who produced "Classic"? I'm loving it! It's so simple, but works so well! So yeah, for those that thought I hated simple shit - I don't, it's just simple shit that sounds like crap that I hate!
And as for this album not having much Del on it - whatever, it doesn't make the album any worse. Basically I think Del (and SOM) are overrated - the only one that can hold it down on their on is Pep Love. But when they all come together the crew is greater than the sum of its parts.
