but I'm throwing stones in a glass house. Im poor but hungry for more tunes...if I burn it and I think its really dope, I just go and buy it when the cash comes my way.
Just think though....scarface's joint was dope....and it didnt even go gold...wonder why???

download everything you can get. and if u really like that cd. buy it. this process will save you big bucks.

Don't front. You know you don't just download shit, decide if you like it and then just scrap it... you know you still keep the majority of what you downloaded.

If you want to go that route, just order your albums online, most sites have snippets of the albums they carry.

of course i keep my downloaded files. But downloading music, is a totally diff thing. at least for me it is.

u know, i spend sooo much money on cd's. and guess what they got stolen out of my car. so what should i do? i cant get the out of print cd's baq, can I ?

for example, i have the new murs, as promo on my harddrive.

but my golden files, are tapes. liek the very coffee shop, or the apex predator. well yo, im gonna keep on dl all i can get.

on the other hand, im gonna order lots of stuff next week.

I think we perform a useful service for the artists and the fans ... meaning our websites & store, and others like us. As long as people support us enough (by buying what we sell), we can keep doing what we do.

It's ridiculous for the major corporations in the music/entertainment field to try to control everything.

the music industry are greedy bastards that's why they want so much control.

if they had it their way they would make burning illegal and the cops would be bangin down your door like you were a crack dealer while they confiscate your computer for piracy.

believe that it may sound dramatic and conspiratorial (is that a word?), but they probably have lobbyists out there promoting these ideals.
