The new Grouch is sooo fresh. I can't get enough of it. What about that song that goes: " the things you do might get you by, but have you ever wondered how it feels to just be high, must of the time on some natural shit, thats where I want to be...." that is some inspirational shit right there. I'm still bumpin that album. I use that shit to get up and I use that shit to go to sleep. - one luv

....very clean....
On "no slow thinkers" I was wondering if Grouch was inspired by a shirt at Berkeley ive seen sold by a street vendor that says "Slow Thinkers : KEEP RIGHT" I know he moved down to LA, but I dont know when he wrote the song.... (possibly when he lived up here????)

When i first copped that shiet, I always played "paint a perfect picture" while I was messing around with my acrylics.... he is great inspiration.....

My fav has to be "Aint my life.."

Clean Nikes. is dope. And OMG, Moves that Make Me with Zion and Bicasso is tight as hell! Grouch and Zion collabarations are some of the best work I've seen as far as guest spots are concerned. New Zion I drops end of Feburary!

That shirt was designed by Shing02 back in 95 I think, back when some of the future LL crew members were staying temporarily at Shingo's then apartment in Berkeley.

Anyway check out his other designs at www.e22.com/slide_tshirts.htm (http://www.e22.com/slide_tshirts.htm), and elsewhere on his site. He lists that shirt as "OUT OF PRODUCTION AND NOT FOR SALE", so the street vendor must be selling an unauthorized knock-off.

what do ya'll think of "Cloud 9", the track w/ homegirl singing on it??
in reviews that i've read it's barely mentioned...amongst my crew it's a favorite, as are "Some People" and "Clean Nikes"...these might be the jiggier tracks but they flow nicely...
holler back!!

I got the cd as soon as it came out with my last $17. It's incredible. I played it everyday all the way through for at least 2 weeks. I heard the upcoming Zion I at the record store at ASU and the collaboration with the Grouch is great...the cd sounded solid overall. I can't wait to grab that DVD but I'll have to sell some of my stuff to get it. I'm BROKE!!! The LL show here in Phoenix drained my account. I think I have $1.27 in my checking account right now...none in savings. :( Late.
