actually that song is by Figures of Speech. it's only natural for you to like T-Love cause it was a group that consisted of her and Suga B (who also rapped on a couple heavyweights songs as well as Sach's last album)

T-Love = One person. She had her own EP out called Return of the B-Girl and it featured Siah n Yeshua, Kool Keith, and Chali 2na. Production by That Kid Named Miles, also affiliated with Breakestra (I believe).

i also think medusa and koko had an older group named s.i.n. back in the early 90's.

Jay - yes SIN i forgot about that. She talks about that on the radio interview at the beginning of the feline science EP (which has some of her dopest work ever recorded, including the song over that slow tripped out Yusef beat, the Blessed Wes song with Acey, and some other ill stuff).
As for T-Love's band, I didn't know about that. Has she always had a band? Or do you mean the band that played the stuff that Miles made on Return of the B-Girl? She's down with ninja tune now, no telling where she could go.... Definitely a dope MC. Male or Female.
also remembered another just now - highly slept on - often thought of as a male - SHA-KEY! Rahzel's early shit was on her album "A Headnodda's Journey to Addidi Skizm".... Vibe Chameleons. Ill Bill suckedo n that record though.

that's the band playing on that one live-sounding cut on long way back.. i think it's her old band.. not sure though.. i think that was the name of her old column in urb magazine back when that shit was free.

i always thought the D.A. was a guy, I never paid enoug hattention. i listened to the songs, then i'd go look at the record to see who was on what songs, and i'd pass over the D.A. thinking it was one of the fellas. Mahasin is nasty though.

They really need to do another project, maybe replacing Shabaam Shadeeq with J Live, Monch, or the most likely choice, Kriminul. Add the old songs and remixes on the 12"s to the EP and it's an album's worth of absolute dopeness. That shit was way ahead of it's time.
And shit, it's about time somebody just compiles all of Apani's old 12" shit into an album like they're doing for Shabazz the Disciple. I guess she's working on something new for Sound Ink, but CD-only heads can't be blamed for not really knowin about her.
