i know this has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now, but there really wasnt anything that suggested it was really going to happen (only internet people talking), so i didnt get too excited about it but...
either yesterday or the day before, i was flipping channels and i saw a little bit on a show about how travolta is gonna hook up with tarantino again the create 'vega brothers'.
its gonna feature john travolta's character from 'pulp fiction', vincent vega (my fave flick of all time) and michael madsen's character from 'reservoir dogs', vic vega (better known as mr yellow).
its a prequel to both movies and is supposed to be focused on their lives before the 'events' from the other two movies. this sounds too good to be true, i hope it really does come out. itll be like a g'd out jay and silent bob strike back, how characters from different flicks are in the same movie.
i dunno how theyre gonna make them look younger though since its gonna be a prequel and its been how many years since theyve played those characters already...
I saw the same thing. Tarantino said he'd hopefully have the script finished by the beg. of 2003 and be ready for filming by summer.
That'll be dope.
i'm not gonna get my hopes up.. hopefully tarantino's got his edge back, he's been acting like a rockstar and playin off his celebrity status for like hella long.
I read somewhere his next flick is some kung-fu flick and he's working with the RZA to do the movie score..

My man needs to make a Vietnam flick. Something with a lot of gore and great dialogue. I don't know who the movie would feature but...
People to consider:
Samuel L. Jackson
Chris Penn
Tom Sizemore
Steve Buscemi
Tim Roth
Damon Wayans
People to leave out:
Ben Affleck
Michael J. Fox
Sean Penn
Charlie Sheen
George Clooney
Shaq

They wouldn't belong in this Tarantino production. Maybe he could line them up in one of his softer flicks.

Nah, they've already been in Vietnam flicks anyways... and Fox didn't even look like a real soldier. I wasn't buyin' it. There is no way that powderpuff would've even made it past boot camp.

Nah, everytime I see that guy I think of his character in Zoolander. That just won't work.
I'd like to see Tarantino remake Taxi Driver though. He could add his own unique style to it. There are a bunch of movies I'd like to see him remake actually.

its funny you mentioning him doing a war movie.
ive read in the past that he was working on a script to a war epic. i think its about the vietnam war but i cant be too positive about that.
it would be waaayyy tight if he did come out with that flick... and it had a cameo with butch's (bruce willis' character in pulp fiction) dad 'hiding' the heirloom watch 'somewhere'.
