i place a big order awhile back. i keep debating if i should contact you about this or not since you did give me a hookup on the order. but i guess i'll let you know the deal. all the shit i ordered was fine except the Cannibal Ox- The F Word EP. It was either used or previously opened. The reason I know is because the sticker on the top was gone but a part of it was stuck onto the plastic of another one of the cd's i had ordered. I'm not really trying to be a bitch about this but I'm not really trying to get screwed over either. i dunno what to do.

Is the CD stratched or missing any papers or CD a matter afact?

If Not, then dont bitch and dont try to get some money back cuz then the EMCEE's And Producers are losing money and pretty soon (in situations like this) they wont be able to put out dope shit.
Just think about it man.

would you pay retail price for a used cd? i doubt it. i downloaded this album a long time ago and decided to show support and purchase it. i could have never bought it to begin with if i didnt want to. as a matter a fact everything on the order i place i already had from downloading except the dvd's. i asked mark and not you anways.

I proved my point and you? Just talking about your MP3 Songs downloading and not going to shows and bumbing tapes like some of us do. We go to get the tapes and Cds from shows not just download them from a Kazaa piece of shi .
Your answer was not even realated to my question let me ask it again ok. Break it down real simple. And If the question was for ACCESS ONLY THEN WHY POST IT UP ON THE FORUM FOR ANYONE TO SEE AND REPLY?

Now can you give me a real answer man?

I think what he's trying to get at is that he's going to feel ripped off by paying full price for a used product. Now as a consumer, you don't want to feel like you've been ripped off. So getting merchandise that is used and you paid full price for it will obviously leave them feeling like they got jacked.

Putting it in the artists situation doesn't really take into any matter of it at all. It doesn't matter if the artist is struggling to put the music out, it's a matter of the store selling products that aren't noted to be used. Recieving a product that was used and not a brand new copy is poor customer service. You don't work at Access so it doesn't really pertain to you or I. And yes, it is in a forum, but it is in the Customer Service forum which means if you don't work at Access and can't provide any legitimate help then what's the point of you even browsing the forum?

I see your point SD§619§EmCee BUT, he did pay for a brand new copy and a brand new copy is what he deserves. If the product he ordered wasn't advertised as used at least make mark it up a used price item.

So what if he openly admits to downloading the music? He still bought it and that's the bottom line. He still showed his support.

Being as an artist I'm sure they are aware of the tough times that are going to be ahead BUT leaving a customer unhappy and feeling ripped of is not a good way on moving forward. They're artists selling music not a charity. A customer deserves what he/she has paid for.

i haven't seen the cd for myself, but often times we open cds to scan or to do audio on the site or to let people hear the cds before they buy them. as we don't have a shrinkwrapping machine we cannot re-seal them again, so we just usually put the sticker on the outside and let people know what it's been used for

when we are packing up orders we try to make sure that the ones we send are the shrinkwrapped ones, but once in awhile we run out of the sealed ones and have to send the opened product (in hopes that you understand)

not to mention, some cds come unwrapped in the first place (but is not the case in this instance)

if there are any scratches on the cd or if you are just unhappy and want an unopened copy then please just email us and we will gladly take care of it..you don't have to feel conflicted because we 'hooked you up.'

we are not in the business in screwing people over, so if you ever have a problem with any of your orders we suggest you contact us as soon as possible so we can reconcile the situation

anyway email us if you want another copy: info@llcrew.com

rubix138:

First, you're talking about an order from almost three months ago. You need to let us know within a week of getting an order if there's something you need to return.

Second, we do not sell any used products as new.

Third, I don't exactly understand what you mean by, "It was either used or previously opened. The reason I know is because the sticker on the top was gone but a part of it was stuck onto the plastic of another one of the cd's i had ordered." It sounds like you're talking about a sticker coming off and sticking on another CD - could just be a sticker with a loose edge that stuck to another CD that it was next to in the order. Also, we don't shrink wrap anything ourselves.

(We do put vinyl in outer plastic bags/envelopes sometimes, but not CDs - except for the rare case of a CD that is not in a normal case.)

yea, i realize the order is pretty old and should have contacted you earlier. the sticker i was referring to is the on the top of the majority of cd cases. the case wasnt shrinkwrapped either. scott pretty much cleared up what probably happened though. the cd is in good condition and there really isnt anything wrong with anything else. i've bought plenty of stuff from you before and you are by far the best site i've ever dealt with when it comes to ordering albums. i'm not looking for free hand outs really but more of an explanation of why this occured. it doesnt really matter and it wont stop me from ordering from you site again. i realize if i would have contacted you earlier you would have did something to correct this problem. however its my fault for not contacting you earlier because like i said before its not that big of a deal. i spent $500 its not like paying $9 really made a big difference. i appreciate mark and scott being on top of things. from now on if i have a problem i'll let you know asap and thru e-mail. this is the first and only time i've ever had a problem.

my response to sd 619 mc:

first off this really has nothing to do with you. this is the customer service area and as far as i know you aren't scott, mark, or anyone else who happens to work at access. its really funny how you can predict how many shows that i've been to. i've been to quite a few shows but maybe not as many as you because shows dont come to the area i live in now and they rarely come to the place i used to live. and when they did i had to drive 2 1/2 to 3 hours to see a show which i've done several times. if thats not support i dont know what is. you keep talking about is anything messed up with the cd or cover. that really doesnt matter at all. i dont care if it's a no-name mc who is struggling or a well known artist, if i'm purchasing a cd that claims to be new, then i want a new product(which in this case, i got). so anyways, its not any of your business so no need to reply. also thanks demize for clarifying a little for me. and on another note cannibal ox isnt struggling by any means and already got there money from this album when access bought it.
