it got shelved..it probably wont ever be 'released'..dre is a businessman..notorious for trashing projects..

you're half right, dre didn't shelve it, the label did. it was right after the whole chronic 2000 fiasco. what was dumb was they (the label) already paid for the sample clearance. I guess they didnt' want to put any more loot into a dre project after that chronic album did so lousy.

BUT...it did get released, last year. it's called "Thy Kingdom Come" I have it, it's good, definitely worth picking up. also, if you look around you can find an ep on aftermath that got put out as a promo before it got shelved. it's only got like 4 or 5 songs, but it has a couple short skits that dint' make the CD and it's the only way you can get those songs on vinyl.

isnt the 'new' album a different album tho?..its not all the same tracks as the first Aftermath release..i knew another album came out, but i dont believe its completely the same album aftermath was planning on putting out..correct me if im wrong..

nope, same one, same name. The vinyl EP I have says "from the forthcoming LP Thy Kingdom Come" and all the songs on the EP are on the new cd. like I said, there's just a couple real short skits that are on the EP that didn't make the cd for whatever reason. but other than that, it's the same exact album.

He does have a new album coming out soon but that's still in the works. Not sure if they're recording. I know all this because I'm working on some stuff with people that are working with him and one guy who actually co-wrote a lot of the new album. I even see King Tee every once in a while. ...not to name drop, heh.
