Rahul Reddy: Kurupt, The fans in India really are down with the whole hip hop scene in America especially the West Coast. We have a few rappers here Apache Indian, Baba Seghal, and others that were inspired by rappers like Ice Cube, Snoop and yourself. Can you give us the latest information on whats going on with Death Row right now and Suge Knight?
Kurupt: I appreciate the support in India, and all of the Indian Subcontinent as well as the Middle East. The Black and the Brown are definetly united here and abroad. As far as Death Rows Back is concerned, we are making positive moves. We have Crooked I's album which is slated to drop later this year called " Say Hi To The Bad Guy " which is totally off the hook. My album " Against The Grain " is coming out after that, and I am currently working in the studio on it right now. I have said before this album is going to be a classic and believe me it will.
Rahul Reddy: What is the situation with Suge Knight?
Kurupt: Suge is going to be out really soon. Within weeks I am guessing. It was a bullshit charge and it's fin to be dropped. You know when your a marked man everyone is coming at you so we had a little setback but it's wishful thinking of some bitch ass niggas that he gone be locked up for a while. Shit ain't happening.
Rahul Reddy: Who will you be working with on your upcoming album or appearing with in the near future?
Kurupt: I got some real true Mc's on my album Against The Grain. I am working with Ice Cube, Jayo Felony, Kam, Roscoe, Spice 1, and a few others. I am about eight tracks done as of right now and I am almost halfway to completing the album.
Rahul Reddy: In a previous interview, you mentioned that there will be a surprise guest on your album, can you shed any light on who that maybe?
Kurupt: It wouldn't be surprising if I told yall now. All I got to say is that this artist and myself are going to bring one the tightest tracks of the album and believe me when you see who it is, and what we gotta say, its going to make your jaws drop! (laughs)
Rahul Reddy: Daz Dillinger recently called you a liar and said your allegations about certain people affiliated with Death Row pissing on you are untrue and claimed 2pac wanted to beat you down in Cancun. Can you address these topics?
Kurupt: First off, the whole Cancun story is bullshit. I didn't address that before but between Daz and myself, I was the only nigga outside of Suge on Tha Row that visited Pac in jail. When we were in Cancun, Daz barely came out the room. He was antisocial and he didn't even talk to Pac. There was no scuffle, no nothing. This whole story about Daz saying Pac wanted to rent a room to whoop my ass was hilarious. The nigga can imagine a lot of things. He can imagine that, he can imagine that he actually produced Doggystyle, he can imagine he wasn't suicidal or got pissed on. Bottom line he know the truth.
