though some of it has no meaning to it...the beats are catchy. I don't mind going to the club and hearing it while dancin with the ladies.

Yall are trippin... I don't understand people's tastes in dance music at all. Gimme some happy, vibed out DJ Spinna, Polyrhthm Addicts style shit, or some RZA bangers. Those bullshit tracks people play in the clubs are fucking terribly unfunky.

That's a tough call. I'll take soulful house over all of it for sure, but...

With a good DJ and no r n' b bullshit, I'll take top 40 over techno.

Otherwise, just put a stiff drink in front of me and I'll do my best to have fun and not hate, but techno sucks, and to quote Megalon;

yeah, i think techno sucks too, thats my point....

but i can have a good time anywhere, as lon as some music is playin, once my mate took me to a pub that had no music, after about a hour i started getting real edgy, and almost lost it, then i realized there was NO music, just a tv with sports on it. I left.

but until then i never realized how much music effects me, i need to zone out and i need music to do that, when i cant zone out every now and then i get edgy....

ah, no you didnt just diss the neptunes. the neptunes are what makes a lot of the mainstream music bearable for me to listen to.
