i haven't bought anything in a long time. i don't want to waste my money on average shit anymore. so name anything that is near classic to classic that has been released in the last year or so. (it doesn't have to be hip hop) thanks
the new Beck album is so worth the money. i got a promo copy but i wish it was on vinyl...
i thought the new Qwel was pretty solid, not really 'classic' i guess but i really dig it.
near classic stuff to look out for soon:
Juggaknots re-release of their EP + more songs
Dereliks Unreleased LP on Sublevel Epidemic..
scott.
nas - lost tapes vol 1 2002
nas - lost tapes vol 2 (coming this year)
non phixion - the future is now 2002
shapeshifters - soulows 2002
aceyalone - hiphop and the world we live in 2003
atmosphere - god loves ugly 2002
luckyiam.psc - justify the means 2002
there are a few dope albums that i can think of that has come out recently and from last year. personally, i liked every track from these albums. there were a lot of others i could of mentioned, but i couldn't say i liked every track. but the one's i posted, i can say the entire album is dope. i hope this helps.

NO DOUBT on that Dereliks, I've been waiting on that since the "A Turn On The Wheel" ep came out. I only have the tape of that, never found the vinyl, but I heard it was out there. Is the album that shane's putting out the same album that never came out after the EP? I have it on dub, it's an amazing album. I really can't wait til it drops, I'm gonna beg for a test press haha. Anyway, holla at me soon Scott on your beat CD, and whatever else. Peace!
Brian
