it was dope. i have so much respect for PISEAS. that guy talks about some ill stuff. he works words like wonders. lol. the crowd was so minimal. Thank You to all who showed up and showed support. PISEAS surfs too!!!! I was stoked on that. not a whole lot of hip hop heads surf. a lot of surfers listen to hip hop but not really vice versa. whatever im just rambling. PETE from the CUF is going to be down on July 12th. Don't miss that one. It will be off the hook. HIGHLIFE.......was that you who parked in the back and got a free CD? just trying to put a name to a face. oh well. im out. peace.

yeah, that was me, bro. i didn't think he was giving me that cd for free so i just left it there on top of the records i was standing near.

damn, i shoulda asked him if he was giving it to me or just wanting me to check it out and buy it. ohwell. i'd for sure cop his album on vinyl but i don't really buy cd's anymore. i atleast bought his 'new moon' 12" and that shit is pretty tight. he was a real nice dude. i just always feel weird when people hand you shit like, check it out. i didn't know he meant 'have this for free.' no problem though.

are you james? yeah, it was cool, just the four or five of us chilling there, sharing positivity. thanks for all the hard work you guys do at access to support hiphop. peaces.

ps, if i remember correctly, you used to sponge, right? i think i remember seeing you BACK in the day at scripps all the time. you were always with this short hawaiian or asian dude with long hair and you guys ripped. i did a contest at scripps too and you were in the final heat with me. it was like solid eight feet and i think you got first place, too! but anyways, i sort of dropped out of the game cuz marine street and everywhere sucks now. i've been meaning to get out but i'm just kinda over it now. too many crowds, too little waves. i guess you're standup now? that's tight. all my friends surf so i would have probably started doing standup too. anyways, disregard this if it isn't you. i think you also worked at the pb drive surf shop or were sponsored by them. man, those were the days, back in the mid-late 90's during el nino and marine street and shoes were off the chain! peaces.

yeah thats me. thats so tight. its a small world. good lookin' out on that BICASSO cd. i was bumpin that today. its tight to have it on cd instead of just tape. we should trade some music. i forgot your name. what is it again? i wont forget this time. promise. i used to sponge and still do. i kind of dropped out of the scene a little bit after high school. i moved up to Tahoe the following winter and was ALL about snowboarding for a minute. then came the smoking and partying etc. i basically quit surfing for like two years and just got back into it. ive been hitting up Marine St, Hospitals, Big Rock and Blacks everyday. theres no surf right now so im just kind of loafing around the house and cleaning and stuff. thats so tight that we were in a heat together. i kind of have a renewed love for the water now. i know that i could have turned pro by now if i just stuck to sponging. its not too late. thats pretty much my main priority and goal now is to see where bodyboarding is going to take me. im definitely going to compete in BIA dropknee this year. im focused and im doing it. ACCESS just keeps me nice and grounded. we were in the YMCA contest huh? we should paddle out. the crowds suck but if you hit it up before like 9 in the morning then its usually not crowded unless its going off. im basically surfing Marine and Hospitals daily like twice a day before i go into work in the evening. hit me up at my email one411@llcrew.com you got any beats youre making or what? lets get down. talk to you later. peace.
