J-Live "The Best Part" question....

I just grabbed a copy of "The Best Part" for 5 bucks on wax. I'm not all too familiar with J-Live although I've always dug what I've heard (Braggin' Writes, etc). I looked up the album on sandbox and the one they sell says "the new version" next to it and has a different cover than mine. What is the deal with that? What's different about the old version, when did it come out, and why is there a different version? Thanks.

The old version is what was supposed to have been his debut if it weren't for the label nonsense. Basically J bootlegged it himself because his past labels owned the rights to some of the songs... the new version is the official 7 Heads release of the debut with a couple new tracks.
