This is so sad to me, because I love jazz music, especially the Era of blue note music that he gets to remix. I would love to hear this same concept for an album, but done by a different producer...

Madlib is not good to me, I can't put my finger on it, but I believe that the guy is SO overrated it's ridiculous. There's so many producers that are far more musical and original... he sounds like a Premier biter that doesn't know how to work the equipment right. Besides that, his shit is all dirty sounding and I can't stand that - I like a clean mix most of the time.

Eligh, Anacron, JayDee, Will I Am....

I think any one of these four could've done this idea sooooooooo cool... I think I'll go kick a chair in the name of good production.

if you like jazz and hip hop, this album is the shit. madlibs got some skillz and it shows on this one. from beginning to end, this cd is enjoyable. some of madlibs other shit comes off a little weak at times, but this ones on point. cop it.

or download it from somewhere... I cant bring myself to pay for anything by madlib. I'm alreadyt assuming that I'll hate it too, so I doubt that I'll even give it a fair chance, you know...? but we'll see...

The clips sound dope. "Distant Land" and the track with Medaphor are bangers. I need to get off my ass and cop this already.

This album is dope. Fuck all that.

I would have liked to see a few different tracks redone, i.e. some MMW, but hey........

Cop it.
