I'm always fascinated by what's going on in West Africa's hip-hop community. Since I'm a broke college student, I obviously can't be there in person but I've been followed the Waga Hip-hop fest coverage for a few years now. It's held each year in Ouagadougou, the capitol city of Burkina Faso, West Africa. Here's some video coverage from this year's festival (the emcee battles are pretty incredible). Just thought I'd share it with anyone, perhaps there's somewhere here who may be interested in Waga.
