yea, they put on a good show. first saw them live opening i think for scarub back in maybe 2001-2002(?)....right when they changed their name from mission to crown city rockers i believe. i have seen them a couple time since, but not in recent years. but yeah, since the first time ive seen them, i have always tried to cop their albums. glad to see they are still around.
if you dig them, check glory (for the people) out of long beach....they got the same kinda style going with a live hip hop band, got tWo rappers per say, and a female singer who can hit some notes. not too sure how they have progressed in sound, but i digged them when i saw them live years ago and got some free shit off them that is till bump from time to time.
here is a vid of glory to get a taste. but yeah, crown city rockers are pretty damn dope. its cool seeing live hip hop acts from time to time.
