I am just truly blessed to be able to do this ACKRITE movement.. I love this game, I have been doing this since 2004 and I have been around a lot of fake ass artist, tight artist with other dedication, and so many other type of artist but NEVER have I had the honor of working with such DEDICATED artist who work hard to make their mark in the game we call Hip Hop… I started this movement because of my love for Hip Hop since the time I was 6 years old listening to Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Biggie, Pac the song that really started making me love hip hop was Ghostface Killah “All I got is you” that shit was CLASSIC… I mean shit even when I was younger like 3-4 listening to RUN DMC, Slick Rick, and I mean I can go on forever about Hip Hop because it inspires me to do what I do to SAVE HIP HOP like GREENPEACE saves the PLANET… Hip Hop isnt about race, isnt about chains, isnt about cars with big rims, hip hop is in your soul its what you live…. I am inspired by the artist I work with because they understand what Hip Hop is….
We have been really grindin hard on the None illa mixtape project starting November 6th he will be droppin a new mixtape every two weeks and let me just tell you from being inside the studio this mixtape series is going to be CRAZY….
+ we have been putting Grid The Kidd’s “Entry Level” debut album, this album is going to be amazing, the quality of work that both artist put into there work is amazing.. I am honored to be able to work with these artist, with None illa’s work ethic and Grid The Kidd’s ambition ACKRITE RECORDS can and will accomplish many goals inside the music industry.
We understand what TRUE HIP HOP is all about we live, breath, and respect Hip Hop past, present, and future we got next… Why? The answer is inside the music….
