Nice, I started a trend. lol
Camp Lo vs. Clipse
I honestly have not heard Clipse, so I cannot vote here. Camp Lo is dope though. I've been meaning to cop their newest album but it's too damn expensive! lol
Dj Shadow vs. Cut Chemist
DJ Shadow. Love that early Quannum/Solesides work, plus "Entroducing" is a classic. "The Private Press" is a near classic IMO.
Das Efx vs. Black Star
VERY tough. I assume you mean Black Star, as in solo works by Mos & Talib as well. In that case, I choose Black Star.
Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth vs. Gang Star
NOT FAIR! LOL...Pete Rock & CL Smooth got the best album IMO, but Gang Starr has a larger, and stronger discography. Guru & Premier wins.
Ghostface vs. Raekwon
Ghostface by a decent margin for me personally. Raekwon's debut is a classic though.
Madlib vs. 9th wonder (was going to do dilla instead but thats unfair)
9th Wonder for me. Madlib has got it on the originality tip, but I enjoy 9th's vibes more.
Leaders of the New School vs. Black Sheep
Leaders Of The New School. Their only two albums are classic IMO.
Zion I vs. People under the Stairs Vs. Blackalicious
Damn! PUTS I guess...but it is so close to a 3-way tie IMO.
Souls of Mischief vs. The Pharcyde
Another very close one, but Pharcyde gets it for their debut.
Blu vs. Phonte
Phonte for sure. Though I am a fan of Blu.
Elzhi vs. royce da 5'9
Royce is tight, but I have not heard a full-length from him yet. Cannot vote.
Black Moon (enta da stage) vs. Smif-n-Wessun (dah Shinin')
Smif-n-Wessun...barely

Damn. Seriously, P? Haha. You know my love for LB but lyrically Blu straight slaughters Phonte. Neither Phonte or Big Pooh are all that ambitious on the mic.
Elzhi vs. royce da 5'9
Royce is tight, but I have not heard a full-length from him yet. Cannot vote.
Royce full lengths are niiiice. You've never listened to Elzhi?

I disagree. Phonte is definitely a better lyricist than Big Pooh. I definitely see a distinct difference in talent. Blu is not as great of a lyricist as some people make him out to be IMO. There are plenty of moments where he raps off beat. Look at nearly the entire CRAC album. Phonte flows with them beats better IMO, and I usually like his multi's more. However, I don't think there is a big shift in talent from Phonte to Blu, even if I prefer Phonte. Pooh is dead last. lol

I have not heard a Royce full length. I have heard the Elzhi though. I own "The Preface" plus 2 Slum Village albums.

Europass is my favorite Elzhi work.

Europass is my favorite Elzhi work.
That one is very good. But I still think I'd give the edge to "The Preface". Though I must admit, the album did not rank as high as it did for A LOT of other people last year. But it is a quality album IMO.
