So, its the middle of March and we have'nt seen a new song for the supposed song of the week and no mention of any albums dropping soon, with the exception of Funkman. Where the hell is Pep's album, Casuals album, new Souls? They keep doing this time and time again. If they weren't ready they shouldn't have said anything and left the site down. How many fans are getting fed up and forgetting about Hiero. I'm getting there. I guess this is frustration speaking but seriously, when is it enough? No info, no fully functioning site, no emporium, limited concert dates. Get some info out and let us know, we support you and want to know some release dates or anything. Later.

Yeah, I will have to agree with you man. Hiero is all talk and 1/4 of the action time and time again. That's what happens when you try to run an indie label, plus have clear label records, you are trying to launch a clothing line, and collaborate with other artists and producs other artists at the same time. Lots of plans, not enough funding or man power to make it all happen. Don't get me wrong... it's great that Hiero is indie, and doing what they are doing. When the actually do get around to dropping something it is great. Full of substance, and it becomes an instant classic. The only problem is it takes a decade to get from point A to point B. Maybe they enjoy building the hype for three years a a time...lol

I think that has a lot to do with it... It isnt new. Thats the way they've always done it. I think now with the p2p shit they are gettin money in other ways possibly.. They were one of the first real independent artists to harness the net, and honestly, i think they are pretty well off.

But yah they definitely do build up anticipation.

indie record sales $$ >>>> major label sales $$

for what it's worth, I agree that the wait and hype is annoying but until you've been self employed and have to keep interest within your fanbase at the same time pay out of pocket to get your lp out is a hard thing to balance. keep the faith bro's.

Yeah, the wait is hard but I'm patient. I'll keep waiting.

when you pay for an album, some of that money is the hope that it will help them to put out another one in the near future. with them taking longer and longer between releases, its making me question whether i will spend the money next time. seems like they dont have their shit together and they dont care as much what their fans think.

Maybe that's why the new Del is free.

that's a really good point. i think most of the backlash on the forum comes from over promising and underdelivering. all it takes is some simple PR from the artists on realistic release dates to keep that from happening. i think funk man is pretty fuckin dope. glad it came out quick as promised and totally different direction from 11th.
