How Fucking Dissappointed are the rest of you?

I can't believe that Hiero has gone this long without so much as a fucking word. I can appreciate that the business may create some issues as far as release dates and so on, but this is just sad. I am one of the biggest supporters of this crew but Im really finding interest in them begining to slowly erode. 7 or 8 years between albums is a good way to lose the connection with the fans. I think all we ask for is some kind of statement from Hiero updating the masses about what is going on with site, albums, future projects etc. I guess Im just dissappointed and was hoping for some more material from Hiero before they are eligable for social security. :ugh:

i'd rather be left in the dark then get more broken release dates at this point. i understand the delays but just don't say shit until you're sure it's dropping cuz it's mad frustrating the be told time and time again that something is coming out on day x only for that day to come and go and another year goes by and still nothing. i'd rather they stay silent than keep giving the false hope that stuff's coming "soon" when it obviously isn't. hiero has always been notorious for that shit though, i put my anticipation on the backburner and when some new material drops i'm sure i'll hear about it and check it out. no point counting the days.

except the souls/prince paul joint... i'm basically on the edge of my seat about that one, have been since i heard the news a while back (and they had said it was basically finished already.. what else is new). hopefully the release is going to be sometime early 09.

The best hiero release period will be the prince paul joint. not because its prince paul. in a way. its not for that reason.

but i saw a prince paul interview and a hiero interview. were in both interviews they said that prince paul was on there ass to bring that vintage SOM back. that 93 feel back. Climax was a good album for the strip clubs but dident sit well with me. so hearing that its going to be the SOM that i listened to back in the day. There 93 album is on my winamp and according to winamp i listened to all of the songs in the 400-420 plays range. wich means 1. i love that album. 2. im frustrated for another album like that.

but to be honest. all of there solo projects where great. they were right on with who they are. and the roles they played on SOM. Tajai was that guy with the style that will bring you one direction and just quickly Cut to the next. Phest was that smart nigga like saying shit that u be like... HOLD UP... WAIT A MINUTE REWWWINNDDDDD. Opio is the one that get your head bobbin. and Plus is the one that just had u laughing like dam he actualy wrote that.

so all there solo projects fit them.

Casual. Casuals style is very chameleon like. He sounds like a New York Rapper in the voice sense. but Has that west coast flavor. and busts different styles all day.

pep love. Pep is exactly what he panned out in his 1st album. a poet a smart dude. good at flowing.

D. i aint going to say much about D just because u guys already know how dope he is. and me explaining it will make this shit longer then it already is.



In the end. since this post is about dissapointments

these are my dissapointments.

11th hour. i stay this many times. D sounded like a fish out of water in this one. Especially the fact that i waited many many years for it. and got something completely opposite then i expected. Still good music. but as a fan of his music. it was too different for me. and to unexpected for me. and too restrictive. its almost like deltron version 30.30 down graded to 20.07 which bothered me. In a way as a fan i waited 7 years for something and it came out like that i felt kind of disrespected. but D as a man a person. i can feel why he did it.dudes been through alot he needed to air it out. i just wished he did that in a much less primitive way. his beat are getting crazy dope now though.

Hiero information. This is a big issue. like what i been seeing in this thread so far. I'm not mad at them for not Shoving an album in my face just to make me shut up. theres alot of things that u gotta go through to release stuff on an indi lable. Hiero aint my slaves. they dont have to put out another album. BUT! were they went wrong is they left Expectation without no support. they are not doing enough to inform us if a nigga retired or to inform us that they having lable problems. they aint going that extra mile thats SO easy to go. like i said in another post. ok if the niggiz got family problems or just wanna take it easy and live life for now. just let us fucking know that. we will respect that. if pep got his fam in priority and just wanna live it out with them TELL US THAT. instead of not saying shit. (if thats the case of course but you know what i mean)

so hiero please give us something because they are so many jewls that u guys talk about but never uncover more information about them.

but guys 1 more thing. Hiero is managed by Dom and Jai.

(unreleased other genre shit wont say much about it out of respect) and it was dope so im thinking if he was working that hard off the bat in that time period im pretty sure he working on shit. making a consept album take alot of time to wright. so i guess thats what is pushing 3030 back.
