feeling like this indi industry is falling. no real forceful push behind shit on the label no more. shit i dident know there was a freshly dipped video blog then wen i found out there was only 2 videos then i didn't know about opio's Vultures album untill myspace gave it love. wich was a VERY good play by the Empirum to do myspace promo i Praise Domino and Tajai and the folks at the EMP for doing that very smart and gangster move. buttt i dont really feel the updates coming from base. base is were it should be at. i wish hiero would go back to being the niggiz everyone was talking about. i remember wen tajai's solo shit was commin out. My excitement was through the roooff. now shit is less exiting. really gotta do that Jordan towers interview. and that BET spot and that internet take over and all that. but i guess hiero is just saving it up for the hiero album realse. so idk i have to be fair and think about both sides. everything cost money. but on the other hand. updating dont cost a dime. just 5 minutes of a niggiz time.


but this op shit give me back new hope because op just be releasing releasing releasing. like i ate 1 cookie and i was satisfied. but op and hiero like yo u think that shit was good heres 100 more foe yo ass. so idk both sides and the moves that hiero is doing im happy wit as a fan. but updates not so happy.

I think you hit the nail on the head bro. I couldn't have said it better myself. You almost have to really try and search and search by googling the shit up to know it exists. Hiero really needs to become better at promoting their shit or the only people that are gonna know about it are those who do their research. The rest will have to rely on word of mouth. Why be good at promoting indie shit, when you can be the BEST?

You got a point. But i mean its indie not to much money going around for promo. a new hiero album is a big deal though.
so I'm sure they going to do there interview runs and all that.
so like for them not really promoting hard (with acception of the op shit) i cant be to mad at that.

Yeah, I asked Pep at the Freshly Dipped Tour abour the new album and he said that it's done and has been done for a while now, but they had to "re-organize" the label or something to that effect. I have no idea what that meant.

Yeah I don't get what going on withthe crew. Nice to see Op on his grizzly, doing his thing. Video is funny, song is tight. Already looking forward to VW Vol. 2.
