I read that article and it looks like its gonna be a good one. I have always loved epmd, it just trips me out that a group where one member hired people to robb the other member can still get past that and knock out a new album. But hey, more power to em. Ready to hear it.

No kidding. It seems like most the threads around here are just people promoting their own shit. Kinda weak.

Anyway, I'm definitely excited to hear this album. I own every one of their albums on cassette, and a few on CD. I'm tempted to say they are a top 10 act to me, but it's more like top 25. Even still - phenomenal duo. Let's hope Erick Sermon can bring some of that magic back to the mic. "Chilltown, New York" (2004) was underwhelming.

I don't think it will be, there is still room for EPMD amongst the wack Lil, Young and Soulja's.

What's your favorite epmd album though ???

Honestly, gotta go with "Strictly Business". I like their first 3 albums the best...I can bump those all the way through without reaching for the skip button. "Business Never Personal" probably makes that grade too...maybe a hair less to me. But "Let The Funk Flow", "You Gots To Chill", "Jane" - just some of my favorite songs ever!
