satisfied.

NEW RELEASES:
EMC - The Show CD/2LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15200
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15345
Straight up East Coast revival! The Show is the debut album from
newly formed supergroup EMC, composed of Masta Ace, Punchline,
Wordsworth and Stricklin. After touring together the four had grown
tight and the eventual realization of releasing an entire group
album seemed like a natural next step. With production backing the
esteemed lyricists by Ayatollah, Nicolay, Frequency and more, the
hip hop hungry can breathe easy, over the course of 23 tracks of
pure gold. Featuring guest appearances by Little Brother, Ladybug
Mecca and Sean Price. Heat!
Siah & Yeshua DapoED - The Visualz Anthology CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15094
Classic, classic, CLASSIC! Traffic Ent. has released a string of
great re-issues year after year, but this one might take the cake,
as they now dabble in the vaults of Bobbito Garcia's Fondle 'Em
Records! Here they have taken 1996's vinyl only Visualz EP to
greater LP-like lengths, with the addition of 12" follow up tracks
from 1998, newly recovered and rare freestyles and more! Normally I
might have written a book about this to convince you of how
important and significant it is, but really not much as to be said,
as the first three words that started the description pretty much
sum it up! HEAT!

Bad Luck - Make It Brief CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15421
New from Rhymenetwork and Nod Records, the same people who brought
you the recently released Walking Coma by Apakalypse! EDK once again
taking on production duties, providing dark, chopped-up beats, this
time stripped down a little for Bad Luck aka Easy Andy, an NYC emcee
with a twisted mindset and in keeping with shock and horror-core hip
hop from the likes of Ill Bill, Necro or early Eminem shit!
The Black Keys - Attack & Release CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15400
The Akron, Ohio duo of singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer
Patrick Carney throw a curve-ball at their core audience and
following by moving out of the garage and into the studio with Brian
Burton, better known to us all as Danger Mouse. The fourth album
Attack & Release still hits hard with The Black Keys' familiar rough
edged rock and blues and psychedelic tones with welcome additions
from DM, and marks the first time the group has featured guest
appearances, also including vocals by Carla Monday and Jessica Lea
Mayfield, Marc Ribot playing guitar solos, and Carney・s uncle, Ralph
Carney, adding jawharp, flute and clarinet to a handful of tracks.
Booze Brothers Syndicate - Mano Del Diablo CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15419
Out of Midland, Texas the Booze Brothers Syndicate mix hip hop and
funk with deep basslines and heavy drums and Southern-style
delivered lyrics for their full length Mano Del Diablo.
DJ Eleven - I Heart Soul CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15379
The Rub's DJ Eleven drops another compelling mix to add to their
impressive repertoire. Oozing with love and soul, don't be fooled,
it's not just "soul" themed mixtape, there's something for everybody
on here as Eleven adds funk, reggae, hip hop and more from the likes
of Fatback Band, Eddie Kendricks, Jungle Brothers, John Holt, Lloyd
Charmers, Pharoahe Monch, Anthony Hamilton, Cymande, Lou Donaldson,
Rene and Angela, Bruce Ruffin, A Taste of Honey and much much more.
Almost 30 tracks and over 70 minutes.
James Pants - We're Through 12"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15190
I'll admit it...at first I wasn't sure if I was gonna like James
Pants, I guess I just didn't know enough about him nor did I think
he really fit the bill of Stones Throw artists. But, so far...
everything that's been released of his has blown me away. So throw
on you space suits and get ready to ride your bicycle to the moon...
this one is headed forouter space. Corny-80's electo-funk with
trippy disembodied vocals, there is no other way to explain it
except that I truly believe this guy was frozen a few decades ago in
some kind of cryochamber and was later thawed out and revived by
Peanut Butter Wolf. Weird...I mean word!
Kanser - Future Retro Legacy CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=14352
After a brief hiatus due to focus on other projects, Unicus, New MC
(Zach Waters) and DJ Elusive return for the seventh full length
album from Kanser! The Minneapolis trio gets help on production for
the entire album by Unknown Prophets member Big Jess with heavy
influences from 70's funk, soul and rock for its "retro" feel. This
is one of the groups most realized albums to date, a newly seasoned
and mature effort just in time for Spring.
The Kneehighs - Rise & Shine CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15420
Talls, Dalton, DayDay and DJ GarGar make up San Diego's The
Kneehighs! These hometown heroes have toured exhaustively throughout
out the South West and up and down the California coast, opening for
many high profile acts, and even performing at numerous benefit
shows including our city Christmas Benefit for the homeless, Rock
the Walk for the AIDS Foundation and San Diego Friends of Tibet
concert. Mixing hip hop and pure fun, their entertaining live
performances are second only to their positive vibe and
introspective lyrics.
Little Vic - Each Dawn I Die CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15408
From Long Island comes Little Vic! Notice it's "little" and not
"lil", it is a nickname he took after his grandfather and out of
respect for his long bloodline in music. Slowly rising in the
competitive New York scene, Vic has made the right connections to be
sure, but this is also due to his talent as an emcee, making the
rounds in the mixtape circuit with notable players including DJ
Eclipse, DJ Whoo Kidd and his own brother JohnJohn. This impressive
debut (a bit long for an EP) pits the aspiring rapper against the
challenge of bringing real hip hop back to the surface in the city
of its birthplace, where it is now shrouded by a sea of fakes. The
battle is slow, but gaining ground with releases like Each Dawn I
Die. Featuring a guest appearance with Kool G. Rap, and produced
tracks by DJ Premier and Buckwild!
Project Dark - The Director's Cut CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15429
A collection of remixes, alternate takes and exclusives from the
surprisingly dark and beautiful album And It Was Black by Project
Dark. Featuring contributions and newly realized versions of songs
taken from the original album by Alias, Scott Da Ros, DJ Mayonnaise
and more! For fans of Anticon...and it helps that these guys are
from Maine too.
Street Native - Hip Hop 4ever vol. 1 CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15430
All new from the label that brought us Final Outlaw, Street Native
Inc. is a movement dedicated to keeping real hip hop alive in the
streets, with a focus on the elements and loyalty. Featuring Final
Outlaw, Pegasus, MEZ, Hasan Salaam and more.
Tangoterje (Red Astaire) - I Want Your Love 7"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15199
Dope re-edit from Todd Terje of Michael Jackson's "I Can't Help It"
with a Latin-bossa touch and a great breakdown half way through.
"New Morning" on the flip, is an alternate version of the Kitty
Winters classic jazz-bossa winner and "Let Love Enter" is a new edit
of Michael Henderson・s boogie/samba classic. As good as the other
two cuts are, you know you "can't help it" but to grab it just for
the MJ joint.
Vass Corporation - One More Day (Kenny Dope) 7"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15409
A rare lost now found funky soul 45 from the early 70s Cincinnati
scene. Featuring Kenny Smith and the Vass Corporation with all-new
mixes by Kenny Dope!"One More Day" is a heavy on funky drums, bass
and brass! The flip "All The Love We Lost" is a somber yet soulful
piece that is big on keys and vocals. On Kay Dee's Iceberg imprint
label.
Cadence Weapon - Afterparty Babies 2LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15059
Now on vinyl! Rollie Pemberton, our neighbor to the North, or better
known as Cadence Weapon of Edmonton, Alberta is back and breaking
new ground after his highly experimental 2005 album Breaking Keyfabe
(a personal favorite of yours truly) caught the attention of Epitaph
sub-label Anti. Taking it to a place I wasn't expecting as he
explores the sounds of the human body and dance music, Afterparty
Babies is a rap-party epic that capitalizes on ideas he barely
touched on in Breaking Keyfabe. Still feeling like the kid he was
when he discovered hip hop was his niche, the emcee and producer
who has remixed for Lady Sovereign, Kid Sister, Busdriver and has
appeared on tracks with Buck 65, Anti-MC and Break Bread must be
having a blast with the opportunity to delve into such taboo avenue
of what I'm calling House-Hop...it's funky, awkward and electronic-y.
DJ Alibi - One Day 2LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15382
Now on vinyl! Russian born prodigy DJ Alibi drops his Tres Records'
debut, a mostly instrumental affair featuring a few appearances from
Insight, Giant Panda and Alibi's own crew, Bamboombox! Part music
theory-minded and part hip hop intuitive, listeners will definitely
get the point immediately, likening his music to that of artists
such as People Under the Stairs or even Cut Chemist!
Snoop Dogg - Ego Trippin 2LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=15061
Now on vinyl! The ninth solo studio album from the legendary Long
Beach rap and pop culture phenomenon Snoop Dogg. Even as the
superstar juggles an intense celebrity lifestyle and his own busy
schedule at home and with his family, there's still always time for
a little music making as the album features production from DJ
Quick, the Neptunes, Nottz, Everlast and more, there are also guest
appearances by Kurupt, Pharrell, Too Short, Mista FAB and more.
We've also got the lead single "Sensual Seduction" which also comes
with the album cut "Sexual Eruption".
