When I went to Paid Dues in Minneapolis, I was most impressed with Eligh during the G&E set, and also the Living Legends set. Scarub was extra tight too. Someone in the LL crew for sure. Most of my favorite live performers are straight from Minneapolis though.

I wish that I have seen more west coast emcees live but ive only seen one. But I will say that Evidence rocked the fucking place. He sounded so crisp almost like they were playing the cd but not.

what makes a a good show. seeing any good rapper in front of a crowd that really repects them and their work always equals a good show.
the only exception Ive seeen was Del for a few years. He performed in some places that he had no interest in putting on a good set, even if the crowd loooved him. (see amhurst)

but yeah, no matter where ive seen lateef he has always been entertaining. but I would have to think who the best cali MC to watch live
