saw mos def last night... he came to my school and played (ucsd).

man he's a good performer

i've seen him a couple times, and the tightest shit is in the middle of the ms fat booty track when it goes, "the room fell silent... singin gregory issacs..." then the band switches it up to a reggae beat for like 20 seconds and mos starts singing that gregory issacs track. soooooo tight. and that band that he has is awesome... some really good guitar players in it.

I've had the pleasure of seeing him live twice, on back to back nites, but only one of the nites was a full show. He is incredible live. Mos Def, Living Legends, and Atmosphere are my 3 favorite live acts.

blackalicious is also incredibly good live... gift of gab has so much lyrical skills and freestyle talent, and he knows how to keep the crowd involved and havin a great time
