What are some of the albums (or songs from them) that you have been bumping since you heard them?

For me, pretty much 3/4 of Foreign Exchange's "Connected" has been in constant rotation since I first heard it almost three/four years ago.

That album is really dope wes, I love the other one as well. What happened to those cats? I co-sign on everything Jay Dub listed as well. Never get tired of those joints. The First two O.C. albums for me as well along with a million others.

depends what you mean by timeless, like 'beauty and the beat' or 'emergency rations' been listening to that hella since it came out, then theres older albums that have had longer to mature and still fat like 'to whom it may concern' or 'book of human language'.

Beauty and the beat was definately dope. I really havent heard to many albums with production i've been feelin. As far as hip-hop goes i'd have to say Paid in Full, Funcrusher Plus, Doomsday Prophet, Hard to Earn, and an grip of Wu-tang albums.

The Roots - Illadelph Halflife...."No Alibi" is one of my all-time favorites...but back when this album came out...I was all about "Concerto of the Desparado" and "Universe at War"...but for some reason I find them to be my least favorite off the album and immediately skip to tracks like "No Great Pretender"...this is one of the greatest contributions to hip hop...and if an actual hip hop hall of fame is ever erected let this album be in the halls of it's history.

Of course there are more comments like this to come...but its only when I get a random thought in my head that I can actually spit out something meaningful rather than make lists. :o

Cuba I think we like similar shit...just based on what I see you jocking on here. (:D)

Am I right Nasy?

Anyways, your "Connected" comment made me think you would like this CD a few buddies of mine made. Its not a ton like the style of Connected but there are some similarities....(in my opinion).

you might like it, you might not. shoot me an email if your interested

I just realized today, that was I was lifting in the gym and then running, that I was listening to "Enter the 36th Chamber" and "Only Built for Cuban Lynx..." the entire time. Definitely old school Wu-Tang Clan are the timeless classics that have remained in rotation since I first heard them.
