Anybody heard anything new regarding Pep Love's new album 'Reconstruction'? He kept mentioning that it was coming soon during the Full Circle tour... and that was quite a while ago now! Four years to be exact. I'm sure that it will be a dope album though. I hope that it has that track that you can hear in the background at the end of "Jingle Jangle" along with "Shout it Out". The one that goes "I got that Jewel of the Nile style". That sounds amazing!

im sure he has recorded many new tracks since then.. I'm really looking forward to this album..because unlike the rest of hiero..pep is getting better every single year..he is peaking right now..could be a fantastic album

I completely agree with you man. From 3EV until now he has gotten SO MUCH better at rhyming. His flow is off the hook. Pep is definately my favorite out of the crew.

Go listen to some Casual, he destroys everyone in the hiero crew lyrically. As a matter of fact, I can't think of anyone in the game right now that could easily take Casual. But I agree that Pep is getting better.

i cant remem who said it a while back (when last good deed came out) that a-plus was the weakest mc in hiero, after considering that point for a while i completely agree with whoever said that. though hes one of the best in hiero at producing

im sorry, but youre very mistaken. del hasnt peaked, as far as we know. his productions always been second rate, but i think 11th hour will blow every previous del album out of the water. deltron second event will be wild, and if one size spits all goes down with doom, then you can count on some whacky, villainous shit to wind out a great discography.
oh, forgot to conclude that del's the best. lets not forget that hes big pops at hiero, and that hes from the fucking future.
off-topic: id love to see a del/madlib collab.

dude, you're trippin... the evidence just isn't there. del has been mia for a while, making wack myspace beats, and don't even get me started on that fucking nightmare 11th hour dvd. i'd like him to come out with some good shit as much as anyone, but i'm not getting my hopes up. i've been let down way too many times by the hiero crew lately.
Actually I'm excited for that souls album produced by prince paul, maybe he can bring back some of the magic.

seconded, btw where did the source for the rumor of 'one size spits all' come from?

not sure. del and doom are friends from awhile ago, though. itd be a waaay heavy album with ridiculously good beats.
and smug, ur a clown. hiero has let no one down, ever. id like to reiterate that del is the best and has put out plenty of good material over the past few years. just think about it:
"f'real" off that 12" single he did for bukue (the tight ass eastern beat off the end of the 11th hour dvd)
"battle of the shadow" off Over Time
"what u hear" off of True & Livin'
to name a few. lets not forget the shit hes been playing on the tour. I've only heard it once, but "FootDown" is beyond tiight.
is that "evidence" substantial enough, you little punk?

"battle of the shadow" off Over Time
"Battle of the Shadow" was a unreleased track from the 3rd Eye Vision album, so not a necessarily new Del song. However, Del has been featured on copius amount of tracks since his last album.

in my opinion the calicomm cd was dope as hell (excluding the live tracks)

Little punk? Haha. I was listening to Hiero when you were watching Sesame Street. And you just listed 4 songs, 1 of them he's only done live. Good evidence dude.

clever, but where's your evidence, retard?
i only listed 4 songs as i didnt want to go on a rant. there are at least a dozen others (don't forget about slamdunk). the point is, theres no shortage of good material from del as of late. whether or not you can only hear it live has NO bearing on how good it is.
and you, my friend, have no justification for anything youve said. based on how well you formulate an argument, id say youre still watching sesame street.
dont knock del just because 11th hours taking so long to drop. its no longer within his control, and as far as hes concerned the album is finished. you had better blame the bureaucracy of releasing an album through a major label, and thus direct any further inquiries/complaints to definitive jux.

My evidence is the lack of Del solo material. He's had 7-8 years to release material through his OWN label since BSOTB. Face it man, dropping a single here and there over a 7-8 year period is not evidence for remaining in the game. But you keep on defending him, I'm glad you're satisfied with his catalog of work lately. I wish my standards were that low.

you guys are crackin me up. For the record, your''ll all right! My fav has always been Del and probably will be. I don't care how long I have to wait.
I gotta say that casuals best shit was "meanwhile" and Pep bores me. He's hella smart and has a shit ton to rhyme about but gets a little boring. Full circle is by far the worst Hiero ablum ever. I was so bummed on it that I didn't bother with going to the show.
What about opio's alb. I thought it was sick.

you're a fucking joke if you think there's anything "low" about rockin' Del's shit, queer.
i gotta agree with aplusen, opio is probly #2, maybe tajai.
but lyrically, nothing beats IWMBGWH.
queer.
lol, i don't think someone has called me that since junior high. good one dude. if you think lyrically nothing beats IWMBGWH, then you have officially proved that you have no right to an opinion.

Hahahaha, there were much more important things said in that post than "queer." i added it to compliment the flow.
so....
go back and try reading it again, though difficult it may be for your prepubescent mind.
seriously, "sunny meadowz" is the best-written song ever.

i agree with you about full circle, and theres no chance iwmbgwh is his best album lyrically thats like saying del hasnt grown up or improved from his teens yet

what?! I know everyone has their own opinions, but if you think THAT is the best song ever written then you need to go listen to some more hip hop. Did you just start listening last week? I'm wasting my time with this newb.

haha, cute expression. look, you can't trip on someone for liking what they like. Coming purely from the perspective of flow, sunny meadowz is genius, and so is the rest of the album for that matter. the production may be formulaic and over-the-top, but IWMBGWH is my favorite del album to listen to. seriously, what the fuck is wrong with enjoying what one identifies with?
sunny meadowz, in particular, resonates with me on a lot of levels. del expresses his love for booty, (former) infatuation with herb, enjoyment taken in chillin' in the forest, and hatred for all fake ass fucks.
smug, fuck you. people listen to what they want, and always will, no matter what some punk bitch on an online forum thinks he knows.

full circle was a dope album.. all the del fans dont like it cause theres not enough del.. but opio, pep love & casual kill that shit on the album.. and phesto dee's verse on fantasy island..one of hieros best! its not as good as third eye vision (up until track 8 it was..then weaker tracks finish the album) but still great

i dont like it not becasue of del, just becasue it was an obvious album to make, and i dont see anything new from hiero on that album. Everthing flowed right over my head on that album, not an album i can look back on and say shit i gotta listen to that again

Wow. That's all I have to say. I am really surprised at all of your opinions on Hiero's material. I thought that Full Circle was 3 times better than 3EV. I also thought that Smash Rockwell is Casual's best material yet. Fear Itself was dope as heck way back in the day, but I don't listen to it much anymore. He Think He Raw was terrible overall. If it wasn't for the three tracks that I like on there, I think I would have stashed it away somewhere. I definately think that Hiero keeps progressing though. Pep Loves flow is so amazing. Opio rips shit up, Casual, A-Plus, and Del are phenominal. Tajai is creative as f#ck, and Phesto is hella good and I can't wait to hear more from The Dealers as well as a solo album from him in the future.
Everyone has their own opinions I guess, and a different perception of what's good and bad. Can't say much more on that.

For those that missed it on tape, I didn't realize you can download "meanwhile" off Casuals myspace page.
I haven't been too hyped by most hiero other than Del. His CaliComm shit is dope. If you haven't peeped it, don't shit talk Del.
Also, I hope I don't see anyone else use lol ever again.
