Just downloaded this of the djx site...it sounds pretty nice upon first listen. The production is a departure from El-P's normal dekka-noise and sounds more like standard hip hop beats, so people who aren't a fan of him might actually like this...

Hey, I've come around on Wildchild's album. I guess I wasn't used to this type of dopeness coming from Madlib. It's dope but in a way that's different from what I'm accustomed to. And Oh No's production is fuckin fresh!

Shit, this album just gets better the more I listen to it. On the first few listens there were some early song that I wasn't really liking, but now the just sound so good! I can see this album getting radio play - it has a similar feel to some top 40 shit, but it's just so much better.
I love all the songs being about drinking and fucking. I went out last night and got a bit drunk and was hung-over this morning. A friend asked if we were still going out for drinks tonight and it sounded awful, but after listening to this album I'm all hyped up to go out drinking again!

Yeah, some of his beats were the reason I didn't like a couple songs...but after giving them a good listen those beats are FRESH!
