NEW RELEASES:

MF Doom - MM..Food (re-release) CD+DVD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=8100
Originally released in 2004, MM..Food marked Doom's first album
for Minneapolis based label Rhymesayers Entertainment. Between
the years of his much heralded cult classic debut and this album,
Mr. Dumile preceded to give the industry a run for its money,
releasing handfuls of albums under numerous aliases and on just
as many labels, making fans stir-crazy to keep up and complete
their collections. Yet, MM...Food, for all intent and purposes,
serves as his proper sophomore album under MF Doom. Therefore,
it only makes sense for the sound of the record to draw influence
from its groundbreaking predecessor. His penchant for shamelessly
(yet geniusly) looped beats continues here to no end, aesthetically
lifting grooves from the same proverbial record bin he made his
name with. Lyrically, his signature style of non-sequiturs and
double entendres are bridged with only a slight of mind, and
before you know it, you've reached the end. Luckily for those
that missed out on this gem the first time, Rhymesayers has gone
all out to bring you the deluxe edition goodies, from inclusion
of a bonus DVD and poster, down to the candy bar mylar foiled
packaging. A gem indeed.

Giovanni Marks (Subtitle) - Marks in Angles CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13905
Giovanni Marks has been a mainstay in the underground (LA and
beyond) since the early nineties having made a name for himself
under the alias Subtitle. From the Library to West Coast
Workforce to Lab Waste, as well as handfuls of self-made and self-
distributed albums, he's earned himself quite a cult following.
This album (the first from 2Mex's newly formed label as well as
the first under his own name) signals his departure from not only
the Subtitle moniker, but conversely his return to the lo-fi
minimalism that caught listeners early on. This is vintage Sub-T
without a needed alias.

Camp Lo - Black Hollywood CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13824
Camp Lo return in top form with their third full length,
highlighted in part by a certified reunion with their original
producer Ski Beatz, who fills in the gap between their time apart
lacing Geechi Suede and Sonny Cheeba with more than enough heat
to warrant this a certifiable comeback.

J Rocc - Thank You Jay Dee Pt.1 CDR
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13772
The mesmerizing tribute to the late J Dilla has finally arrived
in CD form; and who better than good friend and World Famous Beat
Junkie J Rocc to compile this mix? Recorded on 2/13/06, just a
week after Dilla's passing, this tribute was released earlier in
the year as a podcast from Stones Throw. J Rocc has compiled over
30 cuts of dillafied bangers, seamlessly blending his production
duties for groups such as The Pharcyde, to Macy Gray to Common
and of course Slum Village, hand in hand with his own musical
endeavors. This release serves as a tasteful insight to his
otherworldly massive discography. Look for part two in the near
future.

Robust - El Foto Grande CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13803
Robust returns with his official sophomore effort, a much quieter
and mellower affair than his previous albums, but perhaps even
more personal and refreshing, partially indebted to the
production of Mike Gao and Nick Sena. Robust cordially invites
the listener into his world, while paying careful attention not
to come off overbearing or overtly philosophical. Take a summer
afternoon off and make time to get 'The Big Picture.'

Mr. J. Medeiros - Of Gods and Girls CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13730
Anyone who enjoyed the aural bliss of The Procussions will surely
take note of member Mr J Medeiros' Rawkus debut. More than
proficient rhyme-wise and in the beat department, his album
revisits the sound that gave you goosebumps in the first place,
with a few updated tweaks and turns, including top notch guest
appearances and not to mention remixes from Joe Beats, Ohmega
Watts and Siamese Sisters!

Various Artists - Now-Again Re:Sounds 7x7"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13433
Now-Again Records does it up proper-like, delving into the
magnificent world of soul and funk, twisting and turning knobs
until it's been turned upside down! Remixes, revamps and
originals from fan favorites such as Edan, Guilty Simpson,
Quasimoto, Koushik and Aloe Blacc, paired alongside the originals
from Amnesty, Heliocentrics, Timothy McNealy and Roe-O-Tation.
Set of seven 45 rpm 7 inch singles released as a box set. Some
tracks on these singles are not available on the CD, so cover all
bases with this purchase. Believe us, this is one of the best
releases out! Essential listening!

Vokab Kompany - Liquid Language CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13928
Tiger's Temple alumni Buck returns after years of being in
shadows so to speak, hand crafting his newest project, Vokab
Company with MC Rob Hurt. Street music with that lower end bump,
melding a mixture of live instruments and sampled grooves,
bringing with them a few friends like Alfred Howard, Deploi, and
Main Flow for the musical melting pot of sorts.

Kero One - Plug Label CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13755
Kero One returns with a compilation showcasing talent from his
label, alongside remixes and vinyl edition edits. Of the 14
selections here, half were previously featured on singles, and
the remaining are brand new recordings! These have all been
handpicked by Kero himself and brought to CD for the first time.
Featuring songs from Aloe Blacc, Ohmega Watts, King Most, Niamaj,
Rashaan Ahmad, Grean Tea, Osaku and of course, Kero One!

Ill Bill - Black Metal CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13883
La Coka Nostra presents this Ill Bill mixtape featuring new cuts
with a load of guests including his fellow La Coka Nostra crew
members, ripping it over heavy metal beats!

Mikey Mo & Dap Daniel - Hunger Painz 2 CDR
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13822
Still Hungry! Mikey Mo drops his second volume of Hunger Painz
with help from fellow West Bound MC Dap Daniel. Over the course
of this 25 track mixtape, the incomparable DJ Daeta flips brand
new tracks as well as exclusive material from both of their
upcoming albums! Special appearances by Gylatean, Flii Stylz,
Abyss, Theo, Del Mon, and Mel Linium. While supplies last, buy
this CD and get the West Bound album free!

Yesterday's New Quintet - Yesterday's Universe LP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13619
Now on wax! YNQ broke up: These words from Stones Throw Records;
that Madlib's virtual group of over 6 years had disbanded. Truth
be told, for the one band saying its goodbyes, Madlib has
painstakingly brought in 10 more groups to hold the torch. The
result, is arguably Otis Jackson Jr's best album yet under the
guise of these umpteen aliases, spouting jazz melodies and funk-
filled stomps. His chops are noticeably improved and expanded
here (with a little drumming help from Karriem Riggins and Mamao
Azymuth), managing to sound much more like a jazz musician, and
less like the earnest hip hop artist striving to think outside
the hip hop box. With the future ahead of us, there's no telling
where he will go from here, but best be sure, after hearing this
album, you will certainly dream!

Waajeed - The War Part 2 12" EP
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13839
The second of two EP's highlighting another 6 cuts from Waajeed's
newest album, War. Songs from PPP, Tiombe Lockhart, J Dilla and
Wajeed himself. An audibly engaging listen.

Unkle - War Stories CD
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13736
James Lavelle's latest Unkle incarnation delves more or less into
the indie-rock realm, fusing his brand of subtle electronica to a
more guitar-based backbone, while effortlessly lassoing in new
favorites and lost heroes like Ian Astbury (The Cult), The Duke
Spirit, Autolux, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), 3D
(Massive Attack) and producer Chris Gross to round out the cast
of songs.

Common - The People 12"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13835
The lead single from the eagerly anticipated seventh Common
album, Finding Forever, has finally arrived! Two hard hitting
tracks produced by his fellow Chicago cohort Kanye West.

Percee P - Watch Your Step 12"
http://www.accesshiphop.com/store/?itemid=13771
Percee P along with Guilty Simpson and Vinnie Paz (of Jedi Mind
Tricks) spit fire over a Madlib beat. From Percee's highly
anticipated debut album, Perseverance, nearly 20 years in the
making and due out next month!
