Kanye West - Stronger

Has anyone heard that song? I was listening to one of the radio stations through iTunes, and it was on. The beat sounds NOTHING like anything Kanye has ever done before; it was pretty electronic sounding.

Any ideas as to where it's from, when it was made, etc.? I'm pretty curious.

"Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (made in the late 90's/early 2000's?)

Kanye's beat isnt much different than the original song.

I can't say that I know the original song, but yeah, it definitely sounds like the one that he would have used.

heard this for the first time going to get coffee this mornin.. i don't like the chorus but the drum track although kinda simple is slammin (yes, i really said slammin)

So did Kanye just take the instrumental and rap over it, or did he take the original and modify it a bit (add the drums, I would guess)?

He sampled the Daft Punk song, but the original sample that Daft Punk used was "Cola Bottle Baby" by Edwin Birdsong. Eventhough the track is way fresh...I think he could've made something way better if he had actually used the original sample as well.

Both the Daft Punk and Kanye tracks are ill even though Kanye didn't do much to change the beat.

I want those shades that he rocks in the video.

This song is annoying as fuck. That other single he gots out is smashing though.
