You guys remember how I was saying "I dont like paying car insurance and registration so I dont"? Well, I drove with no reg and no insurance from 3/19/01 until yesterday when I was pulled over by the CHP on my way home from work and got my god damn car impounded...... so now, I have to register my car ($168) buy insurance ($180) go to the CHP office and get the release and only then can I go pick up my car at "Nicks Automotive" where it is sitting and costing me $37 per day until I get my pay check and am able to buy insurance and registration. They COULD have just given me a fix it ticket but I guess they figured they had to teach me a lesson since I had been driving an unregistered automobile for close to 2 years. I had never been pulled over until yesterday.

and you honestly thought u would never get pulled over? Everyone gets pulled over sooner or later.. Do you have to pay a ticket fine for any of that too?

Well, no. I figured I'd probably get pulled over sooner or later. I had a good run though, almost two years of not paying shit.

Nah, no ticket fine or anything, just gotta register and insure my shit and I'm straight.

That sucks. I've been driving w/o insurance for about 6 months now, and i roll driving miss daisy style.... what'd they get you for originally? No tags? Speeding?

i got lucky and didnt get impounded..they let me go with a fix it ticket..

but ive had my car(s) impounded for 30 days a couple of times before..it sucks majorly..and the fees are outrageous..
at least you dont have any fines to pay..so that helps you out..go take care of your 'bidness'..

at least you were in your car when they impounded it. my homie had the same thing happen to him when he was parked in street parking across from the bart station.. he thought his shit was stolen. at least you don't have to worry about when you're gonna get pulled over anymore.. now, all you gotta do is worry about the IRS. stay posi+ive!

Oh yeah, u don't pay taxes either.. Dood my roomates uncle was auditited plus my step mom works for the IRS and both said being audited is NO joke.. Just a heads up..
