Just wanted to say that your performance in Hollywood at The Knitting Factory in September was great and you always pump up the crowd.

My question is, if you were offered a deal with a major record company, would you take it? Or even the entire souls crew once again?

You guys were signed to Jive before, would you ever sign to a major record label again?
At this particular moment in time? Hell no. But I wouldn’t say never because who knows? If somebody offered me five-mill and told me “sign this real quick” – I might just do that you feel me? They have to show me some gouda, cheese, bread, limburger… I’m perfectly fine the way it is now as far as creative and monetary control and not having to rely on the circuits of Top 40 radio. When you’re independent and you develop an audience, you really don’t have to use those channels and still be fully exposed to your audience. But everyone’s situation is different. There are some people that I would tell, “Yo, you might want to get that signed up.”
