This is a high quality album. I was impressed right from the first track. I never knew Decompoze was a dope MC, too...

^^^
Not to mention he produced almost half Sonogram and Binary Star. Decomposition also comes with the instrumentals on a second disc.

Of course; I, like most people, wouldn't know Decompoze from anyone else without his contributions to Binary Star/One Be Lo and from also being one of the big forces behind Subterraneous Records.
i just noticed freakin' flo's is on the tracklist, is this the same version of their song that was on Waterworld?
same thing with Indy 500

I don't know about Freakin' Flo's, but Indy 500 is the same track from Masters of the Universe.

Really?
I thought this album was garb... No offense to Decompoze, he did his thing. but the production on this is really lacking. it sounds like it was recorded on a 4-track and the drum kits he used are fuckin weak. To me, it sounds like something someone would have released in the early 90's, but it would have been a mediocre album even then... sounds outdated.
I'm a fan of sample based hip-hop, but this sounds like someones first tape they made to sell on the ave..

i imagine the beats are similar to what sonogram sounded like.old and dusty.

Naw, i don't mean to come off like that...
Decompoze seems like a nice dude and his flow is cool...
but it just seemed to be lacking a lot on the production side of things
I guess outdated is the best way I can describe it... . (the patented triple . then space then one .)

i never bought sonogram... i'm guessing i shouldn't!?
i like the old analog, dense sound... to me (it's just my opinion), this just sounds like it falls short on the production side. It sounds very elementary, basic 90's type sound that isn't really moving in any way(there are a few dope tracks though- brand nu is good)

nah not all sonogram is tight but the beats were just old and dusty.lo flows so tight you forget about the beats and enjoy it as a whole.but i feel you i like beats that sound clean and crisp.

I thought this album was great and refreshing...it's a shame it will be more slept on than a pillow.

pretty decent album I just felt the production could of been brought to another level, Though there are some dope tracks on it. Good Vibe to name one.

shit, if more people tried to sell me tapes like this album, i'd probably be a lot happier about hip hop right now. reminds me of those underground tapes i used to buy from ATAK back in the day.
this is a throwback to the 90's no question. just raw, looped up hip hop. i wish people made more albums like this.......
