Yeah I definitely feel Hiero. They are dope as hell. Souls of Mischief, Del and Pep Love are my favorites but I think that is like all of them almost. They're sick.

93 till infinity, the first casual and del joints but after that I think at best the shit is a five on a scale of ten. They know what they're doing, I'm just not feeling it. Most of the new shit I have heard is boring. That's not to say there is some stuff I might have slept on. As far as Del goes. NO DISRESPECT but I am so tired of hearing him. He's got a great voice but his words and patterns are boring. He uses the same words, and rhymes!! He has definitely showed and proved but I'm sick of his shit, it never changes. Anyone agree? Don't get offended, just one (hu)man's opinion. peace

Well I could see where your coming from but i've only been listen for a year so i'm not tierd yet. plus he is pretty creativ and thats what i think keeps del fresh.

hiero is a dope crew. remember their freestyle battle with hobo junction on the wake up show. pep love was ill on that. i just got his ascension c tape. i'm feeling it. i've been listening to him lately. 'pacific heights' track is dope. i never get tired of hearing that track.. especially when i'm driving.

I respect your opinion but i disagree. I think Deltron3030 was out of this world, a classic. I like Pep Love too. His Ascension C is pretty good, but its dark. I like the track Crooked Angles. I don't get that vibe from it.... maybe certain cuts, but the overall feel of the CD is definitley not 'dark' to me.......... diff. strokes for diff folks i guess.

they need to start workin' on more projects and not lag on release dates like they're so known to do...other than that tho, u can't front on what they've done...hiero's got instant classicks...

latests releases tho have took a longer time for me to digest...like the new souls and cas...i think i expected way too much outta those releases too, so thats where all the disappointed went...

i still need to get those hiero air fresheners...

Quannum's even worse! They did alright when they were Solesides - except they were only putting out 12" for the most part. Once they changed to Quannum all they've done is Quannum Spectrum, Soleside's Greatest Bumps, and two Blackalicious albums. All the 12"s have come straight off LPs, so those don't even count. What the hell is taking them so damn long? Even the newest members (Lifesavas) have been working WAY TOO LONG on their album...I've been hearing about it for over a year now!

I get the impression that both these crews have placed more of an emphasis on touring than recording the past few years. But yeah I'm also very disappointed by how little Quannum has been doing.

And I gotta agree with I-Love-Helvetica. Hiero has been wack for a while now. Tajai's solo Project0 is the only thing they've dropped that I liked the past few years. The last Souls album was bad, the Casual LP was just absolutely horrible, and Del is past his prime. People still just jock em over the shit they did 10 years ago. What they need to do is rerelease the b-sides and remixes tapes on vinyl...

I agree with Ipatch - Heiro WAS good, but lately they been kinda doo doo. I hated "Both Sides of the Brain". Casual is, um, not good. I DID like Pep's album...even though I STILL haven't bought it, it has a great sound and his flow is sweet. Other than that though I don't think they've done anything all that good since dropping "3rd Eye Vision". Really, they just have their rep pushing their product.

I take back my statement that HIERO hasn't done anything good since 3rd Eye Vision...SOM's appearances on Quannum and Def Jux are fresh! But I'll still stand by a statement of: The only good album to come out from the crew since 3EV is Pep Love's.

i talked to one of the lifesavas and he said that the new lp is commin the second week of june.....................But an even doper relase is the ownerzz commin in may.(gangstar)
