help me make some mix CD's

I need to make some new mix cd's (non-hiphop). I mainly listen to hip hop and don't have much other music so I just make mix cd's like every couple of months for those times when I feel like listening to something other than hip hop or when its party time. I am running out of song ideas for these so please help me out with some suggestions.

Here is a list of what I have so far to give everyone an idea of what I am going for. (just random songs)

Jefferson Airplane- Somebody to love

Steppenwolf- Magic Carpet Ride

I'm always down with a little fleetwood mac now and then if your into that, The Chain is a great song by them among others.

Sorry (not really sorry) to hate but The Chain is one of the worst classic rock songs to ever become popular. Fleetwood Mac is pretty terrible. Thorogood did seem like an on point suggestion given the list he provided though.
