album called 'World Ultimate.' Though their album went relatively unnoticed,
a few of their classic singles became staples in countless DJ's rotation,
and even got some airplay. The group was THE NONCE. After dropping one more
EP before Yusef's untimely death, The Nonce virtually disappeared. Sach
continued on, dropping two albums, while masters of songs sat on dusty DAT
tapes. Now just about 8 years after their last official release, Germany's
Hiphopvinyl takes select cuts from the recently artist-released albums
'Right State of Mind' & 'Advanced Regression' to compile this gem of an
album. 10 cuts (including a few short instrumentals) all mixed and mastered
to warm perfection. Some of the material on here was recorded before 'World
Ultimate' and some after 'Sight of Things.' This is a milestone in LA hip
hop.
