steal of a live show

last thursday i was blessed with a steal of a live show with one of the legends of hip-hop and what i'd consider a once in my life time performance (i figured he didnt do much anymore). Her in Mesa, Az came Jeru The Damaja, the steal- it was only $10. I think that is a steal knowing his status in hiphop.

Have any of you guys gone to a cheap ass concert with someone legendary and thought it was a steal of a price to see that show??

To compare: it cost me over $40 to see Wu Tang (my favorite), and only $10 to see Jeru (legend)... to me that would be like someone paying 10 to see Stevie wonder, and 40 to see someone current like John Legend

I've never paid more than 25 bucks for a show, never will. Not cuz I'm a snob I'm just kinda cheap.

I guess the only thing of this sort that comes to mind was payin 10 bucks to see eminem at the shelter in detroit right before the slim shady lp dropped.

not to put down jeru's influence, but wu tang >>> jeru. much more influential to hip-hop, imo.

as for me, i saw an al green show for free buy watching it behind a fence once. snuck into a rock the bells show and saw tribe for free. those were steals.

Bunny Wailer at the Hollywood Bowl. One of my homies went to go see him and forgot his tickets at home. Instead of going home and getting his tickets he just bought new ones at the Bowl. So I sung by his house and picked up the old tickets and got my ass to the Bowl quick style. Definitly a performence I will never forget. :D
