yea..what he said..

its basically injuries..guys havent had the chance to 'gel' together..although they should be playing much better ball than they are right now..and free throws..they cant make a free throw to save their lives..especially down the stretch..when it counts most..they get down by alot, and then make a nice run to get back in the game..and they do what they have to to get to the charity stripe..but they cant hit the crucial free throws to keep them in the game..

hopefully they can start to turn things around..

If you follow the NBA even remotely you'll realize the regular season doesn't mean shit. You think ANY team will want to play these Lakers come May/June? Those teams will either be scared shitless like Sacramento in Game 7, demoralized like Portland and San Antonio, or overmatched like New Jersey. I'm not sold on Dallas' defense and they've NEVER had an answer for Shaq. Things also tighten up in the playoffs and I'm not sold on Dallas' half-court offense, either.

Every year Laker haters and fans of other teams get their hopes up and write the Lakers off, only to disappointed, come June. This year will be no exception, so long as Shaq or Kobe don't suffer a season ending injury.

im not at all a laker fan..but until i see someone step it up come playoff time, the title belongs to the lakers..ive said it since the preseason..the lakers are going to 4-peat..i just cant see anybody beating the lakers in a playoff series..they know how to step it up when the time comes..and especially after the season they are having, they are going to be out to prove all the haters wrong..

I'm no Laker hater, I just don't see it happening this year. Sure, once the playoffs start (assuming they are participating) they have a good a shot as anybody, but with all the comp in the west, the shit could hit the fan early for LA, especially in a 5-game series.
