The Promotional Topics forum was established in 2007 for topics that were formerly acceptable in other accesshiphop.com forums. In the Music Discussion forum especially, promotional topics were starting to crowd out actual discussion.
As of June 2008, the Music Discussion is open to appropriate promotional posts for artists we stock or plan to stock in the Access Hip Hop store. Also, promotional posts relevant to regional and affiliate forums are still welcome in those forums.
And if you are a discussion participant in the Access Hip Hop community, you can still share your beats in the All About Beats forum. But if you come here only to promote or sell beats, you have to post here in the Promotional Topics.
However, if you are an artist, label, distributor, or doing promotional work for anything we do not stock (or plan to stock), all your promotion is to be posted in the Promotional Topics forum. Your topic will be moved or deleted if posted in another forum. If you repeatedly make posts in inappropriate forums to promote your own business or your job, you will be banned from the Access Hip Hop forums. (If you think we might want to carry the music you promote, please contact us by email to info@accesshiphop.com)
Please note: the Promotional Topics forum is still not for posts that are excessively commercial or completely irrelevant or of no interest to people in the Access Hip Hop community.
