The P-funk in 2006 is PUTS... Double K recorded a song with George Clinton and Mike Hampton, and it will be on the next PUTS album... You heard it here first...

You're defintitely not Hiphop if your use of the clap was not original, innovative, creative (compared to any use of the clap sound, in a Hiphop song, between the years of 1980, when Hiphop became a pop culture, and now), and/or FRESH!!!... Anything else is just some sucker/biter TRYING to do Hiphop... Hiphop, the arts, is not an effort... You either have 'it', or yopu don't... You can try, but call it rap culture, and don't try to sell it as Hiphop...

What if i utilized the clap in a way that paid homage to the drum in general, thus, not watering down my attempt... but in fact, overstanding the claps roots and applying it into a context that allows the listener to overstand what i meant when i used the clap?

Dance around the science, but if it ain't funky fresh for 2006 like PUTS, like Time Machine, like Count Bass D, like MF Doom, like Celph Titled, like Insight, etc., etc., than you are at best a minor league level artist... and imitator of the funk that artists such as those I mentioned manifest, naturally, without trying... They just have extraordinary soul... If you had 'IT' like they do, you would be putting out fresh records and getting credit for it... May you be blessed to have such a destiny... Good luck...

I am here to lead by example... and add balance to the perpetrators, plagiarists, imitators, industry whores, biters, etc... and everybody who is fronting on me fits the shoe...

Does anyone care...?

...that the first 24-hour real Hiphop format is now alive and pumping...?

...without the played-out 12"singles (not fresh), without the bubble-gum pop/rap, without the trendy so-called 'underground', imitation Hiphop...?

History is being made right now...

Fresh for 2006, you suckers!!!

When the fuck did hip-hop become a religion? I understand that all forms of music, as they are all forms of art (in my mind) do require the ability of expression to be very pervalent within an individual who claims to be an artist...

...but goddamn, this is too much.

Hiphop has a science and un-written law... such as, not biting... There is a lot to it... it is not something anybody can do simply... You either have 'it' or you don't... and if you don't overstand YOU SHOULD NOT BE TRYING TO SELL IT, and/or acting like you know it...

Thats a good point. But I personally think that Hiphop has a science and un-written law... such as, not biting... There is a lot to it... it is not something anybody can do simply... You either have 'it' or you don't... and if you don't overstand YOU SHOULD NOT BE TRYING TO SELL IT, and/or acting like you know it...

What do you think about that?

all my beats are pure bites of other beats. I just play a beat I like and try to re-make it and hope no one has ever heard the original. That's what I do.

also, I have lots of claps, plus I got the clap once.

you know the clapping sound when you're cutting? Yeah, I'm gonna sample that clap.
